Best NMZ Gear for 99's (Melee)

Featured Replies

What is the current best way to get 99 melee stats in nmz? (afk/semi afk)

I'm currently doing full obsidian with abs and overloads.
Not sure if I should go with a whip and bandos for example since I want to get 95-99's in atk, str and def.

Is Obsidian the way to go, or is whip better with shared exp or any other shared exp weapon and other gear?
How does that work?

full obby until 92hp i think. after that use dharoks

full obby, 4-6 super combats, bone crusher, 4 easy meele npcs, add bouncer if u want less combat xp/hr and a bit more prayer

this is 20min afk assuming u dont super combat

I haven't done it in a while but

the most afk method I have used was full bandos + fury + whip + DFS, doing 1hp absorb method on a customized normal rumble, with an autoclicker on my quick prayers for piety and rapid heal at .555 second interval. I'm sure it would work with obsidian except you will get hit more often due to lower defense bonus, but this really isn't that big of an issue. When I was training my main I was more concerned with AFK than exp rates.

This thread happens every week on here lol. But yes, full obby (for the bonus) until 85/90 (opinions differ on when exactly) and switch to Dharok's.

Obby then use Dharok's. It actually depends on your HP level
