January 7, 20197 yr Has anyone actually noticed a decrease in bans if avoiding botting during Jagex business hours? Is this a real thing?
January 7, 20197 yr If only by a few hours. In my experience, their software flags you, their team bans you once they're in the office
January 7, 20197 yr Hardly a factor when botter is already flagged & analysed with ML & subject to manual review the next day. Edited January 7, 20197 yr by extatus
January 7, 20197 yr The activity/location and account value will determine whether I bot 24/7 or not.
January 7, 20197 yr Work hours don't matter, basically like Jack said: Activity and location are pretty much everything when it comes to bans.
January 8, 20197 yr Won't really change anything if you stop during Jagex hours, they just manually ban you during those hours. If anything, just mule before Jagex hours.
January 9, 20197 yr In my experience and judgement from such, it's 100% irrelevant. You'll get flagged and banned when they do get into their office in that scenario.
January 19, 20197 yr If your account gets flagged you'll save a few hours - until mods get to work and close it. If you're botting during working hours your ban can be instant.
January 24, 20197 yr This is what a normal ban wave looks like, one at 8 AM and one at 4 PM, if you get banned outside these time zones, you're flagged. Edited January 24, 20197 yr by dormic
January 24, 20197 yr The system flags you, and then Jagex staff review and make the final call, so it doesn’t matter when you bot, or even how “safely” you bot, eventually you will get banned (I had an old username login that I botted probably 12-15 hours total on, it got banned almost one year later) Edited January 24, 20197 yr by q600
