We will instantly take care of it you do know your supposed to do more than handle reports right.. I was browsing topics not just "funny" ones... And was browsing pretty much every market topic... Mods need to realize they are not here to sit and talk to everyone 24/7 they need to just help when there are problems and work in keeping the forums clean. I don't understand why u think it needs to be reported for it t be removed.I see raflesia talking to people more than he should he needs to be working on getting things right so many suggestions need to be implemented rules need to be re written because Kati wrote them and isn't staff anymore. Need to add a rule bar to the top of the site. Also noticed mods sit in chat way to much and chat about random stupid stuff. There is a time and place for that. I remember me and Kati literally maybe 30 minutes were talking but in there for a few hours monitoring it and making sure it wasn't getting to bad. Also in no way am I saying ignore people im saying try focusing on more then reports Maybe that's why I was not liked because I didn't have time to sit and talk to people all day, but not once were there as many reports as there is today. If what I gathered from your post was correct, you don't want mods to talk about random things in the chat and instead focus on monitoring the chatbox or Forums (hard to understand)? You can't actually expect any staff member of a Forum to be 100% serious at all times and not joke around/chat in the chatbox. The Forums are being monitored while they are chatting (from what I've seen). P.S. - Respect from people (being liked) as a staff member doesn't come from sitting and talking to people, it comes from your work ethic as well as quality of work. OT: I believe the current staff can handle it, with more focused moderation on the Market section. Good idea though! sorry I am on ipad. I never said 100 percent serious your putting words in my mouth. Respect isn't from work ethic and quality of work on forums you should know that. I did everything there was t do as a moderator and still people hated me because I warned them for clearly breaking rules and repeatedly doing so. I've seen Anne get a lot of hate so far because of her immature acts kicking people from chat etc. but what can you expect from a 16 year old she will learn. Even master chief one of Jason's buds confirmed Jason was furious with him after a warning point. Just imagine getting one from me someone who he hatesI got back lash for removing feedback with a newly added rule. Kati told me to handle it and I got all the flame occasion Jason lee basically got me demoted startingq so much stuff with me about any post I made reporting me t.east once a day to Kati or Rafl. Never did I say no random stuff in chat I said limit your self to minimum time worrying about shooting the shit with people and do your job or resign and let someone who will dedicate time to it do it. They are fully aware of that. They can't go through every single post, that is were the report function is for, to report the things they miss. They do a lot more then only reports. Please come with facts, most of the posts that gets removed, and most of the warnings being distributed, are out of themselves, and not because of a report. There is nothing wrong with staff members being active in the chat. If a staff member is in the chat, he/she is active at the forum as well. The current staff can mix this well enough. I think you havn't been paying any attention at the forums lately, I am implenting suggestions, and I am currently working on several things behind the scenes as well, there are a lot of forum improvements planned, a new rule set is one of the many things to come. How can you say that there are a lot of reports now, compared to when you were a mod? I'm wondering on what you are basing that, I can tell you that there are actually less reports now. If someone wants to sell an account for $50, then it is not needed to post things like 'too expensive, wouldn't even buy for $20'. It is rude and unwanted. I report tons of posts and they get taken care of all the time, sometimes stupidly fast (no lifer mods :X). Just hit that report button, put your reason, and it will be handled. Mods don't (always) read though every post on every thread, it's our job to report them and bring them to their attention. School/college has started and the activity of certain Moderators has plummeted, this is not their fault of course, but we do need a few extra moderators. Maybe another in the Europe timezone?
