Looks good but I think the old one just looks better for the site.

In my opinion just makes it look like we're trying to boast about being a larger community - and the focus of this site would be to 'out and over' the other sites with scripts; or whichever; and people would care more about just statistically being better (in respects of numbers and rankings); rather than actually focusing actually being a solid community with great support - and prioritising that and the users over some random shitty title which every large corporate brand claims to be which just looks tacky.

Your proposed logo looks like a blast from the early 2000's. Flat minimal design is in these days, the current logo is much more modern.
