Drop trading vs. regular trading

Featured Replies

Hey guys, so I got a simple question for you - which is best to do: drop trading or regular trading?

Obviously drop trading would be harder to track for Jagex if not impossible, but do they even track normal trading? Recently I've started drop trading just to be sure my main won't get banned. What do you guys do - drop or normal trading?

Ain't nobody got time for that. (drop trading)

if trading high Gp stacks or high item stacks, I duely my accounts :p if small items like whips food 1-5m etc I just trade cause im lazy

I drop trade or if my friends are on, i just go to duel arena to stake trade there

usually it doesnt matter, maybe drop trading is the least detectable, but they keep duel and trade logs so if the 2 accounts in 1 trade have the same IP they'll notice (not sure if they hand out a pentalty tho) they don't keep logs about what is picked up and what is dropped, so that's the most secure way of getting something from 1 acc to the other.

p.s. i've been trading everything for about 3 or 4 years now and nothings ever happened......

Regular trading of course lol

Consider the following:

  • What if you dc?
  • What if some random noob picks up your things?

I'm fairly sure they don't track trades.

I just use one account ;) but multi-logging all the way if i borrow a friends account.

I am always scared someone else would pick up my stuff. Regular trading ofcourse.

^ this is true of course, although you might want to do it in a hard to reach place, like quest related. or in the wildy, since it appears instantly there...

anyway, jagex wise it's safer to drop-trade, since they wont have anything. player wise just reg trade, much easier n stuff

Regular trading, if the buyer doesn't like that I'm happy to stake it in the Duel Arena.

You'll be fine regular trading.. been trading 100m + stacks since 2004...

I'm fairly sure jagex is too busy banning bots to even focus on rwt anymore, it's pretty safe to just trade.
