Hello user reading this post, i have started using OSBot for about a week now in hopes it will help me further develop my java skills before i head off to college to become a game developer, i have quite a few ideas in mind for scipts and i hope at least a few of them will pan out in the next few months or so. Now to get down to it, i am struggling, the api for me is hard to understand and finding some resources are not easy. I come here in hopes that any of you will be willing to help me, i am looking for somebody i can contact whether it be on this site or skype or even discord, it would really mean alot to me as i work alot better when i have someone i can go to for help, i would even be willing to pay. I love programming and making things come to life and all i need is a little push to get started. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. smile.png doge.png

If you are willing to work hard to learn (read: not be spoonfed code snippets) you can ask me questions.

Thank you, no my interest very much lies with learning and having the ability to code without the help of others but i can't get there without somebody i can go to when i get stuck.

Hi I'm happy to hear that you are trying to learn how to code. I was in the same position as you back in March and it took me roughly a month to get the basics down to be able to write scripts. Here is a code that I wrote to help beginners.

It is a simple woodcutter that uses states/cases in the code.

You can copy and paste this into IntelliJ or whatever you use and then edit it from there as you like.

I would offer more help but I am a tad busy right now with school and am not as active as much.

Nevertheless, good luck and I hope you enjoy it.

Coding is very fun and I took it up as a hobby over the summer and wrote many scripts.
