Your RAM is probably operating correct, it's an error in Speccy that makes it detect/read your RAM incorrectly. Mine is only listed as 666 Mhz.

So after about 1½ hours of live session with a Skype agent form their customer support line, I can conclude that the issue is not on my end, but on Skype's. The agent wasn't able to resolve my issue either, but promised me to forward it to the high experts at skype HQ.
