I mean, I'm not really making a big deal out of it. I'm just saying they should change the descriptions and make it clear that vip/sponsor/lifetime do not apply towards donor rank. When I was newer to the site, someone told me they did. So if you had VIP for 10 months, you got donor rank. There's nothing that says it doesn't, so I just assumed that's how it worked. It's a pretty simple thing to add, and would prevent this from happening again. I'll probably end up donating the 100 dollars anyway because PiP love. After the money I've made from this site, I'm okay with giving some back. :P So please stop posting on my shit with such a negative attitude, it's kind of annoying. ^.^

I would compare it more to like I bought a painting from my gf's painting store to support her business. I don't actually want the painting. I'm buying it to support her, because I want her business to thrive from my money. Sure, I'll hang the painting up, but in reality I have no use for it. I bought it solely to support her. That's a donation, in a basic sense. If I had known buying vip/sponsor/lifetime wasn't a donation, I would have just donated 100 dollars instead. Unless you can tell me a way I'll benefit from having lifetime sponsor other than having the pip.

I bought lifetime sponsor to support osbot. I only have one rs account. Not to mention I'm OSD so I already have unlimited tabs. So no, it's not purely for more botting tabs.

So I purchased lifetime sponsor, which is a donation of $150 dollars. Yet I don't receive $100 donor. This is an issue, because getting the two pips for lifetime was part of why I got lifetime to begin with. I was under the impression that once you donated a total of 100 dollars, you got the $100 donor rank. Whether that was over 10 VIP's, two sponsors, etc. Then I learn this is not actually the case, and that you have to donate a whole separate $100 dollars just for the rank. Please change the name and the description, as currently it stands at: $100 + Donor is a highly exclusive rank that can be obtained by donating $100 to OSBot through the donation page. To donate, click here. I was under the impression things like VIP/Sponsor/Lifetime sponsor were all donations. If this is not the case, please make it more clear in the purchasing sections/forum thread on ranks.

I don't think either should be sold. Unless by educational services you mean private tutoring. I think that should be allowed. (Though with some strict restrictions) But things such as private scripting tutoring (Or CS in general) could be charged for, but only by OSD/Scholar. However "Give me 10 dollars and I'll do your homework!" should not be allowed. Guides shouldn't be allowed for the reasons Cata stated. tl;dr: I think tutoring services should be allowed, but restricted (Could actually even add another rank, Tutor, that you have to apply for). Homework services should not. Guides should not.

This OSD stuff should be taken to a new thread. ^.^

I'm loving all the paints so far guys. Keep it up. I realize it may be difficult to create an intricate paint, so I'll say: If it looks good, feel free to use up the inventory space as well. This should give you more area to work with, and possibly create some even better things. ^.^ Another note: Do not feel completely limited to JUST the chatbox and JUST the inventory.As long as it doesn't majorly obstruct the view of the player, consider it fair game. Last note Try to give the paint a "Minimize" button, like an X in the corner somewhere. Sorry guys, I should have said these things in the OP. I think we're going to put a deadline of May 10th. As Designer pointed out, some of you may want to send us your entries privately, you're free to do so, or you can post them on the forum. Hello all graphics artists! @Deffiliate and I are hosting a contest on who can create the best paint for our newest script, Mother of Ores - a Motherlode Miner Here's what we need in the script: *An area to list ores mines - Coal, Gold, Mithril, Adamantite, Runite The name of the script - Mother of Ores Profit and Profit/hr Experience and Experience/hr Level and Levels gained Runtime An X (or some other minimize button type of thing) in one of the corners. *Only the ores you receive will be listed, for instance, someone with 50 mining will only receive Coal, Gold, and Mithril - so Adamantite and Runite will not be shown in the paint. However, someone with 70 mining will receive Coal, Mithril, and Adamantite, so all of those will be shown, but not Runite. Area available to use: Primarily focus on the chat and inventory boxes. You do not have to completely limit yourself to these, as there will be a minimize button. But try not to obstruct the view of the actual player. Prizes! There will be prizes for the winner. As of now the prize listing is: 1. A free auth (could be given away to that lucky lady ) to our Mother of Ores script. 2. A cash prize - $20 3. You will be our first choice for any subsequent scripts. 4. *in discussion* Trying to get Dex to allow a point towards Designer rank for the winner. I wanna note that I'm 90% sure there's a lot you guys do that I don't see. Because of this, there's a good portion of your work that I can't judge. This makes my feedback basically surface-level, and pretty useless. I'm not sure anyone can give accurate feedback on how well all of you perform in your respective positions.
