Dunno if this is still an active question or not. But botting 20 hours a day will probably get you banned. I have my fisher set to break every 2-3 hours for 10-30 minutes, and he's been going for quite a while. obviously I stop it every now and then to transfer items or I'll switch skills just to lower that ban rate. You should work on your grammar (if your first language isn't English, then it's understandable), as it can sometimes make your point a little harder to understand. I like the tutorial though, Enums are a pretty hard thing to get a hang of, and once you do you realize how nifty they are and how useful they can be. Thanks, m8.

It makes me enough to consider it a part time job. More so once I get more scripts on the SDN, I imagine. Stop with this "work hard and get OSD" shit. All you can do is throw an application in the forums and hope Alek looks at it within the next month. I have put my application in. That's all I can do. Alek has told me several times "I'll look at them tonight." but then doesn't. If OSD is your reason why to not change things, then let's make OSD a real thing. On that note, OSD doesn't give any benefits. Which is another reason why we should change Scripter ranks. Reread my post. I think the difference between us is that you view this as a forum, and I view this as a business. And what is happening is that SDN Scripters are getting denied something that everyone else of importance gets. You're right about one thing, my reaction to all of it has not been prime. But that doesn't make my point any less valid. During the "Demote Maldesto" phase, one of the big things was "Staff doesn't listen to the community." So Raf was promoted. Every suggestion I've made so far has been ridiculed, shot down, and not even considered by staff. As a forum, I can understand this. But as a business, I can not. If adding a color is that difficult, then don't add the colors. I still believe the ranks should be changed, and other colors should be removed. I have applied for OSD, the application system is not a system. If you're going to use that as an excuse, make it a real thing. I'm tired of the constant excuse of "It's too hard to add color." It would take out the colored name from Vet, Graphics Designer, and Ex-Staff. What I mean by too many ranks was that there were too many current colors. How so? To have staff marked would be an excellent thing. To remove useless colors would also be a good thing, so new people aren't so confused as to who is what and why there are so many colors in chat. If things were changed, I wouldn't even be SDN. I don't have any free SDN scripts.

There is a confusion as to which colors mean what, especially for new people. What I think should happen: I think a majority of name colors should be removed. I think Staff should have a glowing name color + an icon at the start/end of their name to indicate staff. (or rank indicated in name somehow) I think Trial Scripter should be added. Any rank that gives a name color should not be glowing Ranks (other than staff) that should have name colors: VIP, Sponsor SDN, Official Scripter Why do I think these ranks and not others? This site is a site built on scripts for osbot. Without the scripters, this site would fail. VIP/Sponsor give access to special benefits. If you're a 100+ Donor, you should have VIP/Sponsor anyway. This will limit the current "price war" on scripts, as a new person will not be able to just pop in and put up a script for 2 dollars. It will also limit the amount of new scripters putting not-so-good scripts up as premium, as they will have need to already make, update, and sustain a free script. Then make it harder and give Script writer ranks a rework. You're refusing to even think about this suggestion, and it's disrespectful to the script writers of this site. This is no longer based solely on a colored name. Script ranks need to be reworked in general.

Running it for 6+ hours is good. But as a test, you just need to make sure it works. Also, if one area works, the rest should work if you're scripting it well. Not to mention you should be testing it as you're creating it. Then once that area works well, you move on. Why do you need multiple tabs for this? At any rate, this is off topic of the thread. SDN scripter deserves a colored name.

You don't need a 6 hour proggy for each location. Testing a location should take you 10 minutes. All you need is "When my inventory is full, does it run to bank? When it's in bank, does it bank? when it's in bank and empty, does it run to trees? when it's in trees and inventory is empty, does it cut trees?" and make sure it works > 1 time. You don't need > 2 tabs for that. If you do, then you should apply for OSD or pay for VIP. Other people managed to do it, so can you.

SDN scripter's bot tabs should be limited (I realize osbot just changed them to unlimited) OSD scripter's bot tabs should be unlimited. SDN Scripter should have ads, OSD shouldn't. Essentially, take away a majority of the benefits given to SDN scripter, give it to OSD. All SDN should get is 2 bot tabs (I honestly don't know why they give SDN multiple to begin with, other than to test multiple scripts at a time which isn't necessary), and access to script dev forum section. OSD should be what SDN is now. Free SDN scripts shouldn't give SDN rank. Premium SDN scripts should require at least one free SDN script for a month. OSD application should require one premium SDN script for a month (rather than member for two months) Scholar (from previous post) should be given to those who don't script for the site, but have a large knowledge of Java/programming in general.

If I'm going to be honest at this point it's not even about having a colored name. Now I'm just curious as to why we don't have one. and why staff is so adamant on not giving us one. OSbot makes more money from my scripts than from any of the VIP members. OSbot has made more money in one week than most VIP members from me. Yet you're telling me you deserve the colored name more than I do? You're telling me that I'm not worth the 5 minutes it would take to add a colored name? Don't give me the "We have to add/remove it every time someone stops updating a script." because it is automated along with all of the other benefits. At this point it is offensive that you're refusing something so small to a group of people that give so much.
