I agree, maybe make the participants make the script free for a month? Either way sure some of the scripts will still become free.

I hope not. OSBot needs all the great minds it can get. Botting is in a dark state, and those who thrive will be the ones who innovate, and continue to evolve botting.

I've always loved botting, scripting, and all the amazing people i've met along the way in my runescape Cheating history. Scripting has always been a passion of mine, ever since i started years ago. Recently though bans have just become to much for me as a Scripter to take. The past few months i've been spending every last penny of my script income to buy new mains, and as a result I'm leaving the scripting scene. I'll still be around to talk with you guys and hope you find a way to beat Jagex, but my scripting career is over. Now i must go into my cocoon, transform, and emerge as a beautiful butterfly

That'd be cool w/ me. Alot of the scripters that were involved in the last competition were thinking of even Streaming while owrking on the script so the community could be involved in the process ^.^

Just wanted to say, Back when I originally proposed scripting competitions we came up with a better system for judging scripts thatn what you have now. Your current criteria seems very subjective. Here's my idea for judging the scripts: 15 points = Code Quality - Naming conventions, efficient algorithms, ans SEXY CODE. 10 points = Stability - How long the script can run without stopping 10 points = Performance - How well does the script do it's job? Is it getting bitches and money? 5 points = Features - Any innovative features that sets the script apart from all others! 5 points = User Interface - How easily the user is able to set-up the script, and how easily the data is displayed to the user. (Input/output) Last competition had 2 bad problems: 1) Category was prayer -.- 2) Bad leadership.

Hell ya man man life is an experience, The most successful ppl are the ones that enjoy what they do and do what they enjoy GOOD. Balance is indeed imporatant. Thats is why when coding I also try to do other stuff, otherwise my brain gets stuck doo deep i nthe matric xDD, but going outside (fishing, canoing, etc.) is a good compliment to coding inside.

U need a bunch of proper anatomical views of heads to learn how to Model better, but dis is cool. Also, you coan try modeling some Crazy npc's ^.^^ I always wanted to learn 3D Modeling and animation.

Good video. It's true, what you go out and learn on your own, with a curious mind is always more impotant than schooling or uniform education. That being said, Education is STILL very important, because in real life a degree will help you with your LIFE-goals and prepare you for a job in your industry.

He stated he has a DIRTY IP: on an IP which has previously had 4+ bots banned on it. This is reasonable doubt to be flagged. He's botted tut island + 3 days no breaks and no ban. So his bot is lasting longer than usual on a dirty IP. I botted tut island for a f2p acc and it's been running smooth for 3 days straight with breaks. The theory this guy's proposing is: F2P somehow has a lower ban-rate... Since it's slipping past a flagged IP for longer.

Ya like I said, your personal experiences aren't necessarily the same experience other people have. That's like Laz constantly telling me about how he doesn't get banned, and that ppl just need to bot smarter. Also, you said him not being banned is proof that his IP isn't flagged, but you don't know that. On the contrary, OP stated that he receives tons of bans on fresh members accounts. This leads me to believe the OP does have a flagged IP and that there's something up with banning F2P accounts.

Nah, everyone IS missing the point of this thread. This is some weird shit OP, but before making a thread with this info more extensive testing is required. Try making a few more F2p acc's and gather more data on this. We should be exploring all possibilities on what causes a ban, not just dismissing bans as "Unlucky" >.> Please don't post your personal experiences as facts. Just because you weren't "IP-flagged" doesn't mean others can't be without mass gold-farms.

I'm sure that's more than possible. From talking w/ Laz I know he wants some more help. I just hope he picks some DEDICATED and smart ppl to do the job. You and noto did a great job working on API dream.

That's not true. Laz and I actually came to an agreement in the chat, but no-one else approved it (Dash an Noto disapproved, you were offline.): 10% AND We would get Pips. He said the percentage would be subject to change later on if he felt like we were doing my work, and significantly improving the bot. I'm sure if we prove our worth, Laz would compensate us gratefully.
