  7. someone gave me this answer While no theory has been proven, the most likely reason for this phenomenon is use of Regression Analysis. Statistical regression is a tool that you can use to determine the relationship between variables. In this case, it would be a singular regression, where you have many factors (x variables), and a single probability factor (y variable). These kind of models are used to make predictions, and are heavily used in artificial intelligence. The actual methodology has been around for ages, though. Given the seemingly vast number of factors that contribute to getting banned, we can suspect that Jagex uses some form of this technique to determine probability of any account being a bot. Without such a methodology, it's unlikely Jagex would be able to account for so many variables. Therefore, we can look at this problem with "Is F2P" as one of our X variables (factors) and assume there are a bunch of other, unknown, variables. Now, let's examine what effect "Is F2P" might have on the Y variable (probability of being a bot). Well, if you look at it, most brand new f2p accounts are bots (let's disregard the mobile surge). Therefore, if "Is F2P" is actually an X variable, we know that being f2p automatically puts you closer to a ban. But, of course, you don't get instabanned for creating an F2P account, so we can say for certain that this variable puts us above their "acceptance threshold" (a term we can used to describe the point at which Jagex considers the account to be a bot). At this point, we can assume since we are seeing fewer p2p bans, the "Is F2P" factor certainly is weighted heavily enough that it affects our position relative to the acceptance threshold. This means that these other unknown X variables are at such a value that it exceeds the threshold when "Is F2P" is true, and doesn't exceed the threshold when it's not true. Of course, you can say "why would Jagex use membership as an X variable? Couldn't they just apply the same determination for both p2p and f2p, and catch all the bots?". The answer is maybe. It's likely that Jagex wants to prevent false positives at all cost. False positives for paying customers are VERY BAD for business. Jagex could be afraid of overtuning their system, which is valid, because not only would it hurt them severely, it would help us better determine how it works. This opens the question of "Can there be false positive bans, then?". And I would say yes, on f2p. I've heard a few reports from multiple people that doing tut island really fast and walking to the GE can get you banned even if you weren't botting. That alone points heavily to the use of statistical regression, in the form of Least Common Denominator detection. More importantly, I bet you wouldn't be able to trigger this system if you made the account p2p before starting tut island. I'm not entirely sure if that's true, but it would certainly further my point. If you want a real life example, then let's say you're standing in your house. Probably pretty safe, right? Now let's say I come over and push you. Eh, you'll probably be fine. Now let's say you're standing near a cliff, perhaps sightseeing. You'd most likely be safe. But what if I come and push you then? Decent chance it will end badly. To relate this to our discussion, think of being f2p as being near a cliff, and think of botting as my push, and think of bans as the act of falling to your death.
  8. oh yeah i understand that all these accounts i botted on were newly created with a resting period of 2 weeks just level 3's i would never bot my main on f2p , it already has a 2 day ban , i stopped botting on it completely , my question is why it is so easy for them to detect bots on f2p even if you bot safely
  9. i have never had problems botting pay to play , but when it comes to f2p , my god the account gets banned the next day with like 2 hours of botting , why is it that they can detect and ban so quickly , doesn't this just mean that there detection system is almost impossible to beat? and the only reason people last longer on pay to play is cause jagex is actually just collecting your money till they decide to ban you? i still have my main account that got a 2 day ban after i got 1800 total level , so really my question is has anyone ever succeeded in botting f2p? like not 99's but just all f2p stats to atleast level 50? 40?
  10. I still got a badass main with 1700 stat i botted , im just surprised that this alt got banned so quickly
  11. Yup it was a f2p account i was going to member it after the quests but yeah , why does it get banned so quickly and do you think i should get a new router for a new ip ,( i get em for free) or just not use stealth quester? I didnt bot till i got some stats up than went straight to stealth quester and got banned next day , never happened to me before
  12. after my main got a 2 day ban i quit botting on it and made another account , let it sit for 2 weeks before starting to play, after the 2 weeks , i started manually leveling up stuff past level 20 , then after all that i start botting quests with stealthquester and bam next day perm banned , is it because it is connected to the same ip my main got 2 day ban? my main is still okay since i don't bot but i believe the ip is flagged?
  13. basically want to create a new account to bot on as a second main , will that get my main banned? no gold farming .
  14. yup never botting on it again ,i was 100% sure it was going to be perm but i got a 2 day maybe just a year but i did mostly combat stuff , and botted only 3 hours a day with breaks
  15. what method do you use to bot nightmare? cause DH with the dwarf cake is pretty click intensive it always trys to keep you 1hp
  16. after a year and a half botting this main account that i got to level 111 and 1300 total level , it finally got a temp ban , sucks that i got it again the same way as my other main and it was botting Nightmare zone, i am very glad it is a temp ban , this is it for me , no more botting on this account, but my question is now if i was to make a new account and if that new account gets banned does my main also gets banned?

think this is broken , been trying to use it with 50 prayer 86 defence and 71 range , the prayer flicking is messing up and its getting attacked by the demon alot
  18. there is no way i had a virus i never download anything without a virus scan , and i have both malwarebytes and Norton paid version , no other password was changed other than that runescape account which i don't care for, i just don't want it to happen to someones main or something , so its very important to set an email and authentication

    51 Agility

how can you trust anyone not botting on it on a botting site lol , this makes no sense
  20. it was a throwaway account that i was testing stuff on , i used exwalker, and mostly free scripts , i believe one of the scripts i was using the creator of it has been banned, im not sure which one it was , this was not to long ago maybe a month or 2 back , this has never happened before to me
  21. so i had an account that i had created with no email set and no bank pin, and i had never had any problems with my account or any password being change in 5+ years.. but when i put my password on osbot for the breaker the account got hacked and the email was set for another email, is this possible? i dont really care about the account but does this happen? or has it happened to any of you ?
  22. where do i find random.dat remover? or how does it work ?
