Open the client you wanna mirror before opening Mirror. Add a bot and it should hook to the client. If you're using rune lite then try what the guy said if it still doesn't work then use Jagex's client if it still doesn't work.

If you mean Rune lite, then try it. If it works it does if it doesn't it doesn't(Someone said something about having to use 32 bit Rune lite try that if it doesn't work). But normal Mirror should still be working when using Jagex's Client.

Yes. If it's not encrypted you probably can easily reverse the jar and read the code to check for anything Malicious. Other wise you don't, why there's a warning.
