  1. If you get an i7 for a good price it will perform just as well as any server grade cpu. I thought the only real benefit of a server grade was ECC ram, which you wouldn't even need just for botting. I haven't had any issues with mine for the past month.
  2. The dream is not alive, the 20m bid is legit, soz
  3. 100 gp ea, 136k in stock add my skype: Ohhungry not going cheaper, thnx Must buy all

  5. Hi

  6. Please don't do clever bot talking, it's probably the worst antiban... Oh also, I just purchased this script and I'm training up some accounts for it. What stats would be good enough to start killing druids? I'm currently working on getting 40/40/40, think it should be good
  7. I hope you guys understand that botters also need the bans. If Jagex just stopped banning all the accounts, there would be nothing stopping people from making hundreds of bots and completely trashing the runescape economy. Gold would become worthless to the point where you would be making even less profit than before
  8. Windows seems to be a lot better for running osbot in terms of memory usage. I would go with the first package, since you most likely won't be needing 32gb of ram. at 16gb you will probably be maxing out your cpu before your ram runs out. Also, try to negotiate with the host. You need very little storage space/bandwidth. You can get the price significantly lower by asking for a custom plan and saying that you can take the minimum hard disk space/bandwidth ( Most hosts have around 500gb-1tb as the minumum for bandwidth, and for hard disk space even like 5-10gb would be more than enough, but minimum is normally like 250). If you have somebody monitoring the bots 16 hours a day though, with them constantly connected via something like teamviewer or vnc, then you might want to up the bandwidth a bit because I think that could use up a lot. The dedi I am currently using is http://www.hostingsource.com/services/aff.php?aff=209. I pay 87$ a month for a i7 -3770k (3.5ghz, quad core, with hyperthreading), and 16gb of ram. Only get like 1 tb of bandwidth and 250gb hard disk, which is good. The most bots I've put on it is 25, but I could probably put more. I don't know if you could get a price like that with them now though, I ordered mine during a double ram deal and negotiated a bit. I was originally getting an i5, but they ran out and gave me an i7 for free. Negotiating with the host can actually save you a lot of money, so I would suggest doing so. Also, an important note, make sure the host you are signing up with allows you run a botting client on it, there are a lot of companies which will not allow it, and could possibly terminate your services if they find out.
  9. yeah, lots of bans going around atm. I lost like 10 bots a few days ago.
  10. There is a 20m bid, learn to read! He's paying 4m CASH though :P
  11. I want to know out of 'n' numbers generated, what is the probability that at least one of these numbers is 1. Or, in this case, a draconic visage. Also, how do I calculate this probability?
  12. The best way to safely buy an account is to ask for all the account details, i.e, isp used to create, date created, payment information, and then try and recover the account yourself. Then at least you might have some chance of recovering it back if they recover it. But besides that, there really is no way to protect a purchased account from being recovered. After an account I bought got recovered though I emailed Jagex and told them I had purchased the account and they should ban the owner for real world trading, doubt it worked though :P
  13. So I never really thought about this before, but now that I'm taking a course in probability it seems to have popped up in my mind Lets say I have a 1/10000 chance of getting a draconic visage when killing kbd. How many times would I have to kill the kbd in order to have a 50% chance of obtaining a visage. Originally I would have thought, 5000 times because it's half of 10000, but that's wrong because I could then extend that logic and say if I killed the kbd 10,000 times then I would have a 100% chance of getting a visage. So how exactly do you calculate something like this? Edit: Alright, it looks like my question wasn't really clear enough. I can rephrase it to a simpler example. If I flip a coin n amount of times, how would I calculate the chances of me getting heads ATLEAST once. This would be a simple case of the draconic visage. Where heads is getting the item and tails is not (Clearly it is not a 50/50 chance, this would be a metaphorical weighted coin with a 1/10000 chance of landing on heads). Maybe that metaphor is a bit too long, but anyways, I'm wondering about this. How do you calculate the probability of getting atleast 1 draconic visage out of n kills. I am not talking about each kill as an individual event. If somebody kills 1000 dragons, they have a higher total probability of receiving a draconic visage than a person who has only killed the dragon once. I am not talking about increasing the chances of a drop during each individual kill. This statement pretty much sums up what I'm wondering "If I killed 1000 dragons and got 1000 drops, what are the chances that atleast 1 of the drops will be a draconic visage" && "What if the number of dragons was doubled to 2000 drops, or n drops?" P.S, Superman, you're retarded, just because there are 2 possible events doesn't mean each one has a 50/50 chance of occurring... Why did this get moved, it's a math problem, I'm just using runescape as an example New Edit: Not that anybody will ever read this, but I figured it out, and it's actually really simple math. Lets say I want to calculate the chance of getting a visage drop out of 10,000 kills. If the probability of a drop is 1/10000, then out of 10000 kills, the probability of getting a drop is 1-(probability of not getting the drop) = 1- (9999/10000)^10000 = 0.6321389. So if i do 10,000 kills, then my chances of a visage drop is 63%

  15. I think he meant stringing bows, not spinning flax into bow strings :P

I'll buy all for 97, add my skype: Ohhungry
  17. http://up.ht/1g6fCtV Here's a maple stringer I wrote for myself. It's not super fast or anything, I was just using it before when all the fletching scripts were broken. You can also decompile it and change the id's if you want to string other bows. Also, I'd only use this in pest control, because I didn't put anything to handle the items you get from randoms. It uses the fastest withdrawal method so that you aren't one of those nubs who types 14 into the chat all the time
  18. DO NOT WRITE AN APPEAL. If you haven't logged in from your home ip yet, don't. This is how you get the account unbanned. 1. Go on the VPS, log in to your account from there and change your account info, i.e, password, and email 2. Make sure you change the registered email from the vps, so login to your email account on there and change it 3. Wait about a day or two, or however long you want 4. Send an email to Jagex from your original registered email, saying your account has been stolen, and that somebody hacked your email and changed your account info, do not mention the ban at all. 5. They will most likely confirm that a third party has accessed your account, and ask you for information to recover it. 6. After you recover the account, attempt to login, then send them an email saying that the third party who stole your account got it banned, and that they should remove the ban. 7. If Jagex doesn't respond within 2-3 days, send another email. 8. Congrats, your account might be unbanned The Jagex email you want to contact is accounthelp@Jagex.com This method does actually work, of course you need a bit of luck. If it works, I'd enjoy that 10mill :P Also, proof http://gyazo.com/10338aacb214f34bb466b2f22a4533df. I did this before with one of my mains, it got permabanned again on my home IP though so I'm not sure if my second attempt at unbanning is gonna work :P
  19. I'll buy for the auto win, 30 mill. Send me a pm, or add my skype, ohhungry
  20. Tis true, Linux was a bad choice I don't use up nearly as much ram on my windows home machine. If you know why it uses up so much memory on Linux and how to fix it that would be really helpful I have a memory cleaner on windows but I don't think such a program exists on linux (Although I always though linux managed memory pretty well to begin with) It might be a random guess, but take a look at this. Linux is much more resource friendly than Windows and this link might explain the weird behaviour of linux. Another option is that the default heap size of java is larger on linux than it is on Windows. On topic - I can easily run 18 bots on my 8gb Windows pc, using roughly 80% ram. So with your pc you can easily run 20 bots. On linux, I dare to guess 30 bots are doable if you know how to allocate ram. Yeah, I know about the caching and stuff. But I looked up what memory was actually being used and which was just cached, and it looked like alot of it was in use, not just in cache. I've also had scripts where the client ran out of memory and crashed, but I think that was due more to poor scripting.
  21. The point was he has a very powerful cpu compared to the amount of ram he has. The point was that he would run out of ram before running out of cpu power
  22. Incase nobody noticed, rares are only "rare" in the main game because nobody thought to hoard them, or not enough people were around when they were released. That plus they are not getting released again. In 07 however, tonnes of people hoarded them because they are stupid...plus they aren't even discontinued, so you lose in both categories
