5 pointsDude go get laid and stop worrying about petty bullshit.5 points- Quick Guide to Protect Yourself From Chargebacks
Hello community, The amount of people not taking the right precautions when selling/buying is ridiculous. There is an extremely easy way to prevent yourself from ever being faced with a fraudulent chargeback. Heres a quick guide on how to do it: Step 1 Always confirm the person your talking to on Skype through private message on OSBot. Make sure they send you skype logs of the conversation! Step 2 The seller of the gold must first request an identification card, either school, state, or government issued. If the buyer has one the he/she scanned online, I personally would not accept it. There are professional ID makers out there, and are experts at making the ID name match exactly the Paypal owner. Step 3 With the paypal email the seller logs in with: specifically tell them to email you this exactly: Title: "Virtual Goods" Body: "I, (Their first and last name), hereby confirm that I am purchasing a virtual good for (Amount) (Currency) through my Paypal account, (Their Paypal email)." Also, they must add attachments of their Identification Card and their Paypal Home screen (Where it shows the balance). Example: Make sure the email address both match. As of here, they do not. I would automatically reject the buyer or tell him to try again. Step 4 Now look at their ID. Their ID name must match: * The email the buyer has sent to you * Their PayPal screen they have sent to you, to represent that they are the owner of the account Step 5 Now tell them to send the payment. Make sure in the notes before they send the payment: The reason behind claiming that this is a virtual good is because PayPal does not cover intangible goods, such as virtual in-game currency. You will automatically lifted of the chargeback and receive your money back. Step 6 Enjoy the money in your account, rather than the scammer's. Now you have more than enough evidence that the owner has sent the money. Call Paypal and tell them all the information that he has sent you, and you are sure to win. I better not see anymore losing chargebacks!4 points- I can't take it anymore :/
4 pointsSorry to see you go. But honestly in my opinion you wouldn't have so much hate if you didn't complain about everything you didn't like. I don't like a ton of crap on this site, but you don't see me calling those people out, making threads, or just adding dumb comments, trying to make the site better for yourself instead of everyone. Just live and let live. But anyways good luck with whatever you choose to do after this! No hard feelings!4 points- I lol'd.

2 pointsYour Opinions valid as they may be may offend and or are not needed in a public area. Contrary to what you weed smokers might think not EVERYONE does smoke it and not EVERYONE wants to hear/see you talk/type shit about it so maybe just hold off on typing about it in the public chatbox. it is unnecessary and not warranted to do so. weather you like it or not it is actually an illegal substance and should not be condoned in anyway. And "getting laid" has nothing to do with people acting immaturely around the forums, Please just keep it too a low in the chatbox... where it isn't needed at all if you NEED to talk about it add your pot smoking buddies to skype and have a group chat/call just don't go about it in a public area where the rest of us have to see you harp on about crap. Thanks for this, should help a lot of people out in the market2 points- DMT
2 pointsWell if you really want to get technical. For every 90 minutes of REM sleep you get a night, you have dream cycles, which use anywhere from 400mg+ of DMT depending on what size of person you are. So a average person gets about or almost 3 dream cycles a night, so 3 * 400mg = 1200mg which is more than 12 times the amount which needed to break through, being as a average dose is 50-80mg. Also when you die, your body releases DMT for about 15 minutes straight, which is 8000x the amount you get your entire life, so some believe that is your soul leaving your body, and is why DMT is reference as the Soul Molecule. So in short terms, NO IT IS NOT BAD FOR YOU! Now please go do some research; the intelligence people are showing in this thread is giving me cancer.....2 points- Disallowing illegal things on OSBot

Updated for OSBot 2's API! Hello future script writers and other OSBot members! This will be my first OSBot script writing tutorial, and it's geared toward beginners with at least some understanding of Java (however, I'll still be covering some fundamentals). So, let us begin. Step I: Getting the IDE An IDE (integrated development environment) is software that makes programming much easier on you, the programmer. There are many Java IDE's to choose from (IntelliJ, NetBeans, Eclipse, and many more), but for this tutorial, we'll be using Eclipse. You can download Eclipse here. Simply choose the Eclipse Standard and download the version for your computer (32 or 64 bit). Once downloaded, use a program to decompress the archive, and move the eclipse folder to wherever you'd like (C:\, your desktop, it honestly doesn't matter). To open Eclipse, go into that folder and open the Eclipse application. Congratulations, your one step closer to making OSBot scripts! Step II: Basic Java Fundamentals Java, like C++, PHP, and Javascript, is a high-level programming language, which simply means it's very readable by humans (we use English while programming in these languages) and therefore much simpler to write code. If you're an absolute beginner, with no background in programming at all, this is going to go by extremely fast, and I will likely skip over some important topics. If you fall into this category, you absolutely NEED to read these tutorials by Oracle. I'm not sure about most of you, but I feel that a great way to learn something is to dive right in, and worry about the little things after you've started to understand the bare essentials. With that in mind, let's take a look at a simple HelloWorld class: public class HelloWorld { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Hello World, I'm learning Java!"); } } Now looking at that might be intimidating if you're new to this, but believe me it's very simple! I'll break down some of the common words used above: public: This could be public, private, protected, or default. It simply states the visibility of this class/method/variable. Public items can be seen from outside of your package, private items can't be seen by other classes in your package, protected items can only be seen by the subclasses of your package, and default can only be seen by your package. class: A class is like a blueprint from which objects are created (Oracle). static: This is a keyword that simply means that only one instance of it will ever exist, even if you recreate it infinitely. void: This is the return type of this method. Void methods return nothing, int methods return integers, String methods return strings, and so on. String[]: This is an array. Arrays are just containers that hold a specific number of items (of one type). For example, this method takes an array of strings as a parameter. System.out.println: This is just a method that prints a message to the console and then prints the newline character. ;: Semi-colons are used at the end of any Java statement (note: conditionals and loops do not count as statements), without them, your compiler will give you errors. { }: These curly braces are used to surround/contain the contents of a class/method/etc. This is all of the Java basics I will teach, simply because there are already many resources out there (see above). Step III: Setting up a Java Project Setting up a Java project in Eclipse for making OSBot scripts is simple, just follow these steps: Step 1: Press File>New Java Project and name your project, then press finish Step 2: Add the OSBot .JAR file to your build path Step 3: Add a class to your new project And you're ready to actually start script writing! Step IV: Creating Your Script Now here's where we actually start making your script! For this example, we'll be creating a very simple mining script that will mine and drop everything once the inventory is full (please note: this example is hardly usable for a script, but it shows the basics. With a real mining script, you'll want to replace the object name with the ID(s) of the rocks, so you don't try mining empty veins). Here's the full source: import org.osbot.rs07.api.model.RS2Object; import org.osbot.rs07.script.Script; import org.osbot.rs07.script.ScriptManifest; import java.awt.*; @ScriptManifest(author = "You!", info = "I made this script!", name = "Basic Miner", version = 0, logo = "") public class BasicMiner extends Script { private enum State { MINE, DROP }; private State getState() { if (inventory.isFull()) return State.DROP; return State.MINE; } @Override public void onStart() { log("I can't believe script writing is this easy! I love learning!"); } @Override public int onLoop() throws InterruptedException { switch (getState()) { case MINE: if (!myPlayer().isAnimating()) { RS2Object vein = objects.closest("Rocks"); if (vein != null) { vein.interact("Mine"); } } break; case DROP: inventory.dropAll(); break; } return random(200, 300); } @Override public void onExit() { log("Thanks for using this wonderful script!"); } @Override public void onPaint(Graphics2D g) { } } Now most of that will be confusing, but don't worry, I'm here to help you! I'll break this down for you. import org.osbot.rs07.api.model.RS2Object; import org.osbot.rs07.script.Script; import org.osbot.rs07.script.ScriptManifest; import java.awt.*; These lines import other classes for their use in your script. @ScriptManifest(author = "You!", info = "I made this script!", name = "Basic Miner", version = 0, logo = "") This is the script manifest, which simply tells OSBot your script's author, info, name, and current version (for use in their class loader). public class BasicMiner extends Script { ... } This just defines our class, and extends OSBot's Script class, so we can use all of their fancy API methods. private enum State { MINE, DROP }; private State getState() { if (inventory.isFull()) return State.DROP; return State.MINE; } Here we make an enum (collection of constants) called State which holds two states: mine and drop. Then we have a method that's return type is State (so it returns a State, which we just made). If your inventory is full, this method will return the dropping state, otherwise it will return the mining state. @Override public void onStart() { log("I can't believe script writing is this easy! I love learning!"); } This method is part of OSBot's Script class (which we're extending from). The onStart() method is only called once, and is called at the beginning of the script. This is where you should define some variables that only need defined once (the start time, start experience/level, etc.). @Override public int onLoop() throws InterruptedException { switch (getState()) { case MINE: if (!myPlayer().isAnimating()) { RS2Object vein = objects.closest("Rocks"); if (vein != null) { vein.interact("Mine"); } } break; case DROP: inventory.dropAll(); break; } return random(200, 300); } This is another method from OSBot's Script class (see that @Override?). onLoop() returns an integer, or how many milliseconds to wait before doing onLoop() again. We then use a switch statement to see what we should be doing. If we're to mine, we check if our player is currently animating (mining). If we aren't, we find the closest rock to mine, if that doesn't exist (or is null), we stop right there. But if it isn't null, we interact with the rocks by pressing "Mine". If we're to drop, we simply drop everything in your inventory (you did have your pickaxe equipped, right?). @Override public void onExit() { log("Thanks for using this wonderful script!"); } @Override public void onPaint(Graphics2D g) { } onExit() and onPaint(Graphics g) are two more methods from the Script class. onExit() is called once your script is stopped, and onPaint(Graphics g) is called every time the screen is updated. Step V: Exporting Your Script The final step to this tutorial will be exporting the script we just made so we can actually test it out! Step 1. Right click your project and press Export... Step 2: Choose JAR file Step 3: Choose your OSBot's scripts directory and export it! Well that's all for this tutorial, thanks for reading! You can find Part II here! Also: post suggestions for future tutorials, and I'll definitely consider it!1 point- Self-Awareness through Meditation
Meditation My thoughts on the subject, it's benefits, and a guide to help you achieve the state of meditation. Meditation is an altered state of consciousness and can be used as a technique to clear your mind and relax. It has many benefits and positive aspects to it that are life-altering. The sources I used to pull the benefits and images I refer to are as follows: Lifehacker, HuffingtonPost, FoodMatters, WikiHow My Thoughts A summed-up story regarding my life and explains why I find the idea behind meditation so intriguing: Benefits of Meditation The very purpose of meditation is to work off of the aforementioned basic focal points and to strengthen the use of your mind. Among the thousands of benefits that can be achieved through means of meditation, a few are listed below. Invariably reduces stress (the "silent killer" of society) Increased creativity Better memory (study) Increases compassion The ability to get to know your 'self' (look here for more info) Prevents aging (studies show that it increases the strength of your telomares - protective caps at the end of your chromosomes) Improves focused engagement in music (makes music sound better) Mindfulness, which can be broken down into four subsectionsBody awareness Self-awareness Regulation of emotion Regulation of attention Lowers depression Can increase job performance Increases sleep efficiency Increases immune system Most important out of the benefits (in my opinion) is what your brain waves indicate during and after being in the meditative state. The following is an image which displays the before and after effects on beta brain waves during meditation. As you can see in the picture, the difference in the population of waves is greatly decreased after meditation. This is to say that you had a thousand thoughts running at once, and now your mind is clear and you are able to think more peacefully and clearly. You may be thinking, "well, I was never able to do this even though I tried multiple times", or "it's too foreign to me". I wish there was an easy way I could answer the underlying question behind the statements: How do I begin meditation? The answer to that can not be explained through words - much like how your thought process cannot be fully explained to others through language. You must go and experience this yourself to get a sense of what, exactly, I am referring to. I am here to offer you resources, techniques, my past experiences, and to be your personal guide in being able to do just so. Preparing for meditation When preparing to enter the state of meditation, a few things need to be achieved for maximal performance. They are split into a few different subcategories. Make sure you are alone and not with any other parties. Environment Note: These vary per person, so experiment with different ways until you find what works best for you. In order to attempt to meditate, you need an environment which is calm, quiet, and not bright. This will enable you to focus exclusively on meditation and to avoid outside interruptions. (find somewhere in which you will not be interrupted) The space does not need to be very large, a place to sit comfortably on the floor works perfectly. If your floor is uncomfortable, place a pillow under where you are sitting. Make sure the temperature in the room is comfortable and will not distract you from being too hot or too cold. Turn all of your electronics off! This includes, but is not limited to, phone, TV, etc. Wear comfortable clothes that will not cause any irritation or distraction. They should also coincide with what was said earlier about temperature, meaning do not wear overly warm clothing. I recommend stretching out before meditation as you are going to be in one position for a good amount of time. Postures Unless you are an already seasoned veteran in meditation, sit in an upright position and not laying down. If you are laying on your bed, it's likely that you may drift into sleep. Some of the postures to begin to try are shown through this illustration (source, source): The position I use most often is something similar to #3 (center). The second picture displays the same posture, but from a different angle. Find whatever is most comfortable for you, it doesn't even need to be within one of these pictures. State of Mind Meditation requires a peaceful, relaxed, and calm state of mind. That means you can't just jump straight from playing Battlefield 4 right into meditation. By now, all of your electronics should be off, you should be sitting in a posture that you feel comfortable with, and you feel comfortable with all of the other factors listed above. Relax your body - Whether that means taking a walk, having a cup of tea, or taking a short nap. Focus on your breath - Count your breath, making sure you fully and deeply inhale and exhale. Thoughts - Don't let any negative thoughts distract you. Know that they are there, take note of them, but simply let them pass. If you are still unable to clear your mind after trying the previous techniques, refer to "Guided Meditation" below. Entering the State of Meditation Detailed page / source: here It should be noted that having your eyes closed during meditation is more effective for beginners. Techniques Follow your breathing The most basic and universal of all meditation techniques, breathing meditation is the best method for beginners to enter meditation. Become aware of the rising and falling of your stomach and lungs as you breathe in and out. Do not make a conscious effort to change your breathing patterns, just breathe normally. You will find that when you are thinking about breathing, you are forced to control it. When you are not, it happens to you. The hard and fast worlds that connect these two (what happens to you versus what you choose to do) are arbitrary. (for more see "Guided meditation: Alan Watts" below) Mantra Meditation Meditation through repetition of a mantra is usually used with spiritual meditation, and involves saying a sound, word, or phrase repeatedly until you enter into a state of meditation. You can choose any mantra you wish to use, the most popular mantra is OM (mystic syllable in Sanskrit, sounds like this). Below, I have listed links to some mantras to try. http://www.mayurivaid.com/images/Planetary_Mantras_b.jpg Visualization For visualization meditation, it essentially uses the same concept which I was referring to in my personal story. It is the act of creating a peaceful place in your mind and exploring it, until you reach a state of complete calm. The place can be anywhere you wish - however, it should not be entirely real, it should be unique and personalized for you. That means, don't play out the day that you had yesterday simply because you wish to relive it. This source is extremely helpful: http://www.innerhealthstudio.com/visualization-scripts.html Body Scan Meditation through the body scan method is more for those who are focused on getting a relaxed bodily feeling along with the mental benefits of meditation. Doing a body scan involves focusing on each individual body part in turn and consciously relaxing it. Make sure your eyes are closed, and focus on a body part to start, usually the toes. Focus on whatever sensations you can feel in the body part while making a conscious effort to release any tension you may have. Once the body part you were focusing on is fully relaxed, move on to the next part and repeat the process throughout your whole body. When you have completed the relaxation of each individual body part, focus on your body as a whole and enjoy the sensation of the calm and relaxed feeling you now have. Guided meditation In guided meditation, the speaker attempt to take you directly into a state of meditation through auditory means. There's not much to be said about it, so check out the following videos: I strongly recommend this one, Alan Watt's guided meditation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NonSfWKt_Yc Further meditation practice When you gain experience with meditation, you may want to incorporate a few extra things into your practice. Audio Meditation can also be used with different music and sounds playing while you are meditating. Here are some of my favorite meditation music pieces: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE8n4U_tmuY Extending what you learn from meditation to everyday life What good are all of the mental benefits of meditation if you can't incorporate them into your daily life? Living mindfully is the short-term goal you are trying to accomplish through meditation. There are many ways you can do this, and a few are listed here: In moments of stress, try to take a few seconds to focus solely on your breathing and empty your mind of any negative thoughts or emotions. Practice mindfulness while you eat, becoming aware of the food and of the sensations you experience as you eat. No matter what actions you perform in your day to day life, whether it's sitting at a computer or sweeping the floor, try to become more aware of your body's movements and how you feel in the present moment. Hopefully, after all is said and done, you are able to enter the state of meditation and take something out of it. If mindfulness is achieved, then we are all able to coincide peacefully. Give it a shot, and as I said earlier, I am here for any questions, comments, or thoughts. Namaste and gassho, -@Natsu1 point- Account Buying Tips!
