I would suggest Maldesto to re-consider for disallowing advertisements in chat. There is a reason why it's called CHAT. It is ruining the quality talk and interactions with other members. That place is only place to directly talk with other members instead of posting in forums. Other than PM of course. Edit: If they want do marketing there is a whole section for it.

Support. Allowing market advertisements in chat is just as annoying as telemarketers over the phone. I prefer one chat though.

Port Forwarding - A Simple Guide Welcome to my tutorial for port forwarding on Windows. Follow this guide step by step if you are having connection issues. The port we are forwarding is 50050. If you already know how to perform a step, move on to the next one. If you know your gateway, start at step 3. Step 1 - Opening command prompt The gateway to a router is the address, or IP, that serves as an access point to your default network. If you don't know your router's gateway, you can find this out using a simple command through cmd, or command prompt. To open the Command Prompt, hold down the windows key (next to the Alt key) and press "r". (Windows 7 users can open the start menu and type "cmd" and then enter, bypassing the run entry) This will bring up a window (called run) that looks like this: In the text box, type "cmd" (without quotations). So, now you should have something like this open: Step 2 - Finding out your default gateway Now, once we have the command prompt open, we want to type "ipconfig" (without quotations) and hit enter. Something like this should come up (it's different depending on your network): If you are on LAN (have an ethernet cable plugged into your PC), you will find your gateway where the first (smaller) red arrow is. If you are on a wireless connection (say, on a laptop without an ethernet cable plugged in), you will find your gateway where the second (bigger) red arrow is. The blue arrow is pointing to your IPv4 (or IPv6) address. You will need this later, so memorize or write down whatever numbers come after the third dot (the underlined ones). For example, since I am currently on a laptop using a wireless connection, I would look where the second arrow is. (192.168.1.1) Step 3 - Gaining access to your router's settings After discovering what your default gateway is, go ahead and plug it into your browser's URL bar. I use Nightly/Firefox, so my URL bar looks like this: After plugging in the gateway: Now hit enter, and it will ask for a username and password. If you don't know your router's username or password, try the user being "root" and the password being "admin". If that doesn't work, check here to search for your router's default username and password combination. After getting the correct username and password combination, it will take you to your router's settings page. Step 4 - Port Forwarding Once in your router's settings, search for "Port Forwarding" or "Single Port Forwarding" under one of the tabs. Mine happens to be under Applications and Gaming, but once again, this varies per router. Now, since we want to forward port 50050, put it in the "port" field. (if you have an "internal port" and "external port" field like my router, put it in both) In the "To IP Address" field, put your IPv4 (or IPv6) address in. (the blue arrow above) Make sure "Protocol" is set to both and if there is an "Enabled" checkbox, make sure it's checked. Now, save your settings in your router and you should be good to go. Yes, I will be leaving this time for good. It won't be right now, probably after I release the multi script. I've been thinking about releasing it for free and open source so people can see and learn! I hope for others learn from it and accomplish their own goals like I have mine. Hey everyone. As you've probably heard by now, I've been working on a slayer script for OSBot. I'm nearly finished, and am now just looking at adding in a few monsters I couldn't do due to quest requirements, and adding new quality-of-life features like guthans support, dragon battleaxe special usage, bones-to-peaches, etc. I'll be fleshing this out soon with the levels/gear I'm requiring for each slayer master. I've tried to balance it so that most low levels can do Turael/Vannaka, and doing Nieve/Duradel really benefits from a more progressed account. Some features of the script so far: I want to add the following monsters, but don't have access to an account that can reach them. If you can, and are willing to lend me your account for a few minutes (no bank access needed), please send me a PM! I think it would be valuable for people (pretty much mods) to have the time of post on the far right of the chatbox post so that we can determine whether someone is full on spamming or not or whether they really did wait a good amount of time between each post. IE: Would be helpful rather than people PMing me saying kick this guy, kick this guy, when really he isn't spamming that much.

What...? @OP,there's two ways of looking at it: A. You release it open source, a limited few will contribute, a lot will just rip off your code for their own use, and if for whatever reason in future you decide to stop development/make it premium/remove it from the SDN, the aforementioned reasons will cause you problems B. Maintain it as an individual, or issue code access to a select few for maintenance, the effect on the market will be less drastic and you can always make it premium in future. It also means you'd have no worries about code plagiarism. Just something to think about.

The main focus at this moment for OSBot 2 lies in making sure we have organized and covered every part of the planned API. The moment we release we can't refactor existing code anymore. Because we want OSBot 2 to have a very intuitive API, besides the performance gains, we are making sure we are not missing anything.

Indeed, they share the same policies as most game companies out there, we pay their salaries, we scratch their back they scratch ours ect. However... this does not hold as true as it did in the rsbuddy era, when you could run 40 frost dragon bots for 6 months and never get caught. They are starting to come up with new strategies, including the infamous bond's that were released a few months ago, the wheel of fortune, increased memberships ect. they are finding ways of revenue to replace ours and as such do not depend on us as much as they used to, the need is however still there.. ever so slightly. I do however, find it completely hilarious that there are users on this forum and others that think Jagex couldn't hand our own asses to us, they could and have already shown they are extremely capable of doing so, november and first half december bans of 07 proved this to a degree and let's not even get started with rs3, p****bot's defences got destroyed and that bot became a joke for months (not sure what it's like now) instant bans and no mercy. Saying you're better than Jagex doesn't make you cool guys, they could ban you anytime they want and are easily capable of doing so.. just thought I'd throw that paragraph in there and agree with you Hashplant.
