So I've seen a lot of threads lately regarding people becoming worried about botting due to the chance of getting their IP flagged. Well here's a solution that will anonymously assign you an IP address everytime you restart your computer. What we will be doing is running two programs called Tor and WideCap. Download Tor - Go to https://www.torproject.org/ - Click on "Download Tor" - Click on "View All Downloads" under the Top Browser Bundle box they will suggest to you - Navigate to your operating system, Mac is easy just download either the normal or 64 bit version depending on your computer - For Windows users, go to the Windows tab and scroll to the very bottom. Download the one that says "Expert Bundle" - Select the option to run at startup, then finish the installation. Make sure before hitting finish you select the option to run Tor - You should see the Tor icon on your desktop. This is used to restart it in case anything happens Set Up WideCap - Go to http://widecap.ru/en/download/ - Under the update box there is a download link you can get by clicking where it says here (ignore the text after, you don't have to buy anything) - Install to your desktop and run it (if a window doesn't pop up go to the bottom right part of your screen, you should see a multi colored Onion symbol. Right click that and click show main window) - Go to Settings, then enable run at system startup (leave blank if you want to enable yourself everytime). Press apply - Now click Add Proxy. For the server port type in 127.0.0.1:9050 and make sure SOCKS v5 is checked (NOT authentication required). Leave everything else blank - Click on Proxy List (under Add Proxy) and make sure the proxy is checked - Click New Rule and just hit OK - Hit View Programs, and make sure your settings proxify the whole system, excluding the programs listed above. Press apply - Navigate to wherever you have Tor installed (hopefully on the desktop so this is easy) and drag and drop wherever "tor.exe" is on your system into the white space above the settings you just selected (proxifying the whole system, has a text box called new rule, etc) - Once you see an entry for tor.exe press apply again - RESTART YOUR COMPUTER Finishing Up - Once your computer is restarted, make sure Tor loads (you'll see a command box pop up with all this different technical stuff going on) - If you didn't have it start at system startup then just load the program - Right click the WideCap icon at the bottom right, and make sure the Enable WideCap option is selected - Once it is selected, and Tor is running, load up a browser (should see via WideCap at the top) and check your IP http://www.whatismyip.com You're done! Hopefully this helps some people out who just want to change their IP for botting without purchasing a VPN. To turn it off just deselect the enable WideCap and you'll be back at your normal IP. And yes this does work changing your IP when using the bot client1 point

I don't get what everyone's problem is, Archon has a right to be mad. He made a script and dedicated his time to it, now he wants the agreed payment. It shouldn't be to hard for an admin to calculate the sales since the last payday and send it to him, and if the script isn't showing up find out what the matter is. My script isn't showing up either, and Raf said that's because they were moving it to premium and had to do a few things. Since yours is already premium idk what the issue could be, but maybe if you changed the price their doing the same thing? No idea but that's my scenerio.1 point

Hello community, due to some sneaky changes that Jagex has introduced to many of their random events I've had to push yet another update. The problem with randoms was that Jagex stopped making random event NPCs face players directly (in the API it's getFacing()) and instead they made the npcs face the direction of your player instead. This caused many of our random event handlers to not function anymore. This release now uses head messages to detect those same random events. The latest build can be found here: http://osbot.org/ Also, I will be fixing more randoms soon! Thanks, Laz and the OSBot Team.1 point

The client should no longer randomly close. Also, RuneScape once again updated the banking interface and this build has a patch for it as well. tl;dr: Random closing fixed Banking fixed (due to another update to the bank interface) Sorry for the inconvenience, Thanks, Laz and the OSBot Team.1 point

Hello community, unfortunately I did not test last night's release very well but after a lot of feedback I noticed I had introduced a bug with item amounts. This version should have it fixed. Banking should work perfectly and all scripts that have been broken should be working now. Get the latest build here: http://osbot.org Thanks, Sincerely, Laz and the OSBot Team.1 point

Hello community. Today I'ed like to finally announce what our development team has been planning on for some time now. When we first started developing OSBot from the ground up, our development team had to rush much of the code that OSBot uses now. Part of the reason why is because we started development two full weeks after 07scape was already released. This meant we gave everyone a 2 week head-start. We had A LOT of competition, more so than we do now. We knew if we had any chance of being successful, we needed to release a working bot with a simple but robust API. Maxi and I would stay up at night for hours straight programming the bot from a day to day basis. We spent hours on Skype developing and planning everything together. We knew that we weren't the first 07 bot out there but we also knew all the 07 bots out there were primitive and undependable. Eventually the bot you use today was released and we've been working hard ever since to keep it up to date and enhance it. We've learned a lot from OSBot. We've gained a lot of experience and we're now ready to announce that we're going to rebuild OSBot from the ground up again, but this time with the experience and knowledge we've gained. Here's a list of goals that we want OSBot 2 to have reached before its release... A new and fresh JavaFX based GUI. Lower CPU and memory usages. A brand new, smart and simple API. Better API documentation. A smaller jar-file size. An advance web-walking/resource-walking system using smart and efficient algorithms. Automatic random event updates from our bot network without the need to re-download OSBot. Support for an integrated RS3 bot on the same platform. Offline support for when our servers become unreachable. OSBot 2 has no ETA at the moment. We will continue to provide full support for OSBot 1. Sincerely, the OSBot Team. Yes, however as stated in the OP, long-term support for OSBot 1 will still be available after the release of OSBot 2. The ability for OSBot 2 to handle OSBot 1 scripts has been considered as well. I've had plenty of time. I'm getting really irritated with all these script developers thinking I don't have enough time or that we're stealing money. We've paid script developers before, we will keep paying them. This is a legal buisness, not an illegal operation. This website's income is taxed and has to go through a process before it falls into the hands of script developers. That takes time. This reply is simply intended for you only, it's for everyone. Simply because I do not reply to the thread within minutes does not mean anything disturbing. I hope that most of your concerns were answered with the previous reply. As for web-walking, we've dumped data from about 1.3K map regions in RuneScape which is about 90% of the world map. We will be using this data with a combination of efficient algorithms to make web-walking fully automated and dynamic. It has not been fully planned however our development team has discussed the various options and we believe the right one will be written for OSBot 2. More info on web walking will be released as more development arises. Also, for those concerned that OSBot will support RS3. RS3 support will not be released right away. OSBot 2 will be designed in a way that an RS3 bot could be integrated. This does not mean that we are not focusing on 07. 07scape will come first. RS3 support will be a special update scheduled for OSBot 2.1 point
