Spreading rumors that are not based on anything is simply stupid. Bot smart. Being banned is a risk of botting, it happens every day. The forum is filled with assumptions how they could find and ban you, read them and think of ways to go around these possible ways of detection. I'll close this as I don't see a point of going at assumptions after assumption while we have head already hundreds of those. Also this is the wrong section.5 points

I don't get what everyone's problem is, Archon has a right to be mad. He made a script and dedicated his time to it, now he wants the agreed payment. It shouldn't be to hard for an admin to calculate the sales since the last payday and send it to him, and if the script isn't showing up find out what the matter is. My script isn't showing up either, and Raf said that's because they were moving it to premium and had to do a few things. Since yours is already premium idk what the issue could be, but maybe if you changed the price their doing the same thing? No idea but that's my scenerio.3 points

I don't like to do this but let me write this out for you Archon said the following: Now we're going to do some simple counting: Wed nr 1 - Start Thu - Day nr 1 Fri - Day nr 2 Sat - Day nr 3 Sun - Day nr 4 Mon - Day nr 5 Tue - Day nr 6 Wed nr 2 - Day nr 7 Thu - Complain day According to this 8 days passed since the pay date. The complaints started the 8th day. So he has been waiting a maximum of 8 days (which isn't that long in my opinion). And instead of PMing the admin for information he goes public with it causing people to spread rumors like: "seeing so many scripters not getting paid. its ridicilious. staff doesnt give a fuck.". I made this up using the information in the thread correct me if I am wrong. I don't see why you are being completely blatant. Tell me this, if you go to a job and you are told you will be paid every certain day but after that days go by two times without being paid will you do something to question why or simply sit back and say "Oh it's only been 8 days." Also, I have messaged Laz, Maxi, and Raflesia. You really have no place of even replying to this thread as you are no body in this community, beside the fact that you probably know the basics of Java and can put together a few scripts. Clearly this thread was a last resort to get an Administrators attention.2 points

They are getting payed. They are just greedy and can't seem to wait a few days. Archon has waited 2 weeks. That's not a few days.2 points

Dear community, I want to give you an idea where OSBot 2 is at. First of all I want to let you know that OSBot 2 is rewritten from the ground up to tackle some problems that you as a community pointed out. Things like CPU usage increasing over time in a scale of hours, something that never was a huge problem to most users but could be annoying for some. Besides that, increased overall performance is something everyone always likes to see. By writing an entire new core and taking time to do so, the client will score better at those points. At the moment, there is an abstract core written which is extendable for the most part to write implementations of other server revisions, such as RS3. Whether we will do so or not doesn't matter, it will be reusable. The entire GUI of the current OSBot was written using Swing. For OSBot 2 we are using JavaFX. JavaFX might not be as developed in certain areas as Swing, however those area's won't affect us. Besides that, JavaFX performs faster and gives more reliable output when it comes to exceptions. Not to mention, I personally and many others agree, I think that the look and feel of JavaFX is far better and promising than Swing. At the moment, a lot of the main GUI features are done. The client loads the applet, injects the client, hacks the canvas and such. So from here on, our first focus will be towards designing and organizing the new API. The API will have the same features as seen in the current OSBot and those features will be ported over. This is not a very hard job, most of it will just be refactoring. Other new features will remain secret and will be revealed as progress proceeds. Besides the API, which its functions will not have to be rewritten, we are planning and thinking about a second scripting engine. The current scripting engine is completely sequential in a blocking fashion. The new scripting engine, don't worry the old one won't disappear, we want to give a fully event driven asynchronous environment where you will dispatch tasks based on events and have control over the queue by using policies for tasks. We are looking forward writing this as Laz and I love writing new and fancy stuff. There are many other things that need to be done for OSBot 2, but the above is the majority. We can't give you an ETA, we don't want to stress any deadlines and instead focus on its quality. Laz has done a great job on it so far and now I'm joining him in this battle progress will speed up. I hope you had a fun read, Sincerely, OSBot.org1 point

So I've seen a lot of threads lately regarding people becoming worried about botting due to the chance of getting their IP flagged. Well here's a solution that will anonymously assign you an IP address everytime you restart your computer. What we will be doing is running two programs called Tor and WideCap. Download Tor - Go to https://www.torproject.org/ - Click on "Download Tor" - Click on "View All Downloads" under the Top Browser Bundle box they will suggest to you - Navigate to your operating system, Mac is easy just download either the normal or 64 bit version depending on your computer - For Windows users, go to the Windows tab and scroll to the very bottom. Download the one that says "Expert Bundle" - Select the option to run at startup, then finish the installation. Make sure before hitting finish you select the option to run Tor - You should see the Tor icon on your desktop. This is used to restart it in case anything happens Set Up WideCap - Go to http://widecap.ru/en/download/ - Under the update box there is a download link you can get by clicking where it says here (ignore the text after, you don't have to buy anything) - Install to your desktop and run it (if a window doesn't pop up go to the bottom right part of your screen, you should see a multi colored Onion symbol. Right click that and click show main window) - Go to Settings, then enable run at system startup (leave blank if you want to enable yourself everytime). Press apply - Now click Add Proxy. For the server port type in 127.0.0.1:9050 and make sure SOCKS v5 is checked (NOT authentication required). Leave everything else blank - Click on Proxy List (under Add Proxy) and make sure the proxy is checked - Click New Rule and just hit OK - Hit View Programs, and make sure your settings proxify the whole system, excluding the programs listed above. Press apply - Navigate to wherever you have Tor installed (hopefully on the desktop so this is easy) and drag and drop wherever "tor.exe" is on your system into the white space above the settings you just selected (proxifying the whole system, has a text box called new rule, etc) - Once you see an entry for tor.exe press apply again - RESTART YOUR COMPUTER Finishing Up - Once your computer is restarted, make sure Tor loads (you'll see a command box pop up with all this different technical stuff going on) - If you didn't have it start at system startup then just load the program - Right click the WideCap icon at the bottom right, and make sure the Enable WideCap option is selected - Once it is selected, and Tor is running, load up a browser (should see via WideCap at the top) and check your IP http://www.whatismyip.com You're done! Hopefully this helps some people out who just want to change their IP for botting without purchasing a VPN. To turn it off just deselect the enable WideCap and you'll be back at your normal IP. And yes this does work changing your IP when using the bot client1 point

Now now I know you can't stand me but no need to get offensive. I have as many rights to post in this thread as anyone else. As far as the job comparison, I don't remember signing any contracts which state that you will be payed EXACTLY every 7 days. Not to mention if I remember correctly the SDN section says that they will do their best to pay you every 7 days. If they say they will pay their scriptwriters on Wednesdays then they should!1 point

OSBot 2 will update automatically, in both cases of our client or their client being updated. Until then, just wait out the minutes for a moderator or developer to notice the update and push the updated hooks: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/21079-runescape-revision-update-26/1 point

Honestly im not going to buy paints, if you decide to join the project though you would get a cut of the profits based on how much work you do It takes about, a day or 2 at this point to write a fully functioning script so depending when i can get a gui designer will be pushing around 3-4 scripts a week that are flawless and more efficient than any other scripts of that kind It's been about 20 days since you posted this, and you're still in development on your first 2 scripts. Yew cutters are so easy and basic, I don't understand how you haven't finished that by now. Chaos druids are a little more difficult, but 20 days for a chaos druid script is just.. bad.. I watched my friend make a fully functional chaos druid script in two days, that includes walking to and from the chaos druids. you also said you'd be releasing 3-4 scripts per week... Well.. 3 weeks and you don't even have one.. I also noticed you're working on a cow killing bot... Still in development.. I think if you want to be successful at this, you don't state obviously fake ideas and have empty promises.. I hope you understand that I'm just trying to help, but at the same time you should probably pick up the pace if you're going to make up for the 8-10 scripts you still haven't released...1 point

Jagex has never completely been against bots. They just ban a few here and there to appease customers and to keep their game alive. Bots pay a lot of their membership fees so it wouldn't be logical to ban all bots.1 point
