To update, download the newest OSBot v1.7.18 build from our homepage at http://osbot.org

  2. Earlier today a DDOS attack knocked us offline temporarily. We have been working on preventing issues such as these. Recently we just implemented a new security system for blocking IPs that aren't routed through Cloudflare's proxy servers. We've been working on implementing other firewall rules and ways that prevent us from being offline. Sincerely, the OSBot Team.

  3. Memory Cleaner I really don't know alot about this program, so I'll copy and paste. IM NOT TAKING CREDIT FOR THIS PART OF THE GUIDE. Anyways, its a nice little program, so here you go: What this will do for you Allow you to run bots for longer than 10/20/30/40/50 hours depending on your RAM - you know the lag that occurs within the client after around 20 hours? This fixes that Allow you to run more bots per computer Result in more XPs! The program - Main Window Below is the first tab in the Memory Cleaner window, you don't need to do anything with this though I will explain it below. As you can see it shows the current memory usage with a handy 'progress bar', as well as text information concerning the current pagefile usage, virtual usage and the average/min/max usage since the program has been running. There is also two tasks that are available 'Trim processes' working set' and 'Clear System Cache'. These are the two tasks that clean out the extra memory that OSbot uses when it has been running for a long time - individual instances of the client can reach up to 1.5GB if it's a RAM intensive script such as a fighter script. You don't really need to touch these buttons at any point if this guide is followed properly, though I doubt many of you will have read this far without trying to skip to the 'important bit'. The Program - Options Window Below is the options window which is the second tab - This is the important tab, you will need to replicate these settings. Read below. As you can see the boxes are ticked to trim the working set every 5 minutes, and to clear the systems cash every 5 minutes. This means that you don't need to keep clicking the separate task buttons on the main window tab - though it is fun to see the RAM usage bar drop as you keep clicking it... As a backup the two top options carry out the two tasks if it exceeds 80%; hopefully this won't happen of course. ----Download- CLICK---- It may take a few seconds for it to begin downloading, just open the link above and wait 5-10 seconds if it doesn't start quickly. An alternative download can be found here however this IS NOT THE LATEST VERSION. I suggest you download from the big download hyperlink above. EXTRA TIPS Firstly well done for making it this far. Here are some handy tips. I suggest you set the program to run at startup, it'll remember your settings and is useful even if you aren't botting but are using programs that take lots of RAM - For example, video editing. The program is not installed in C:\Program Files, it makes it's own folder. To uninstall, find the install path that you used and there's a shortcut there. If you don't want it on your screen you can press the X in the top right to close it and it will go to your task bar as can be seen below How to Hide Your Bot! I am not taking credit for this either. 1. Search for 'Windows Hide Tool'. 2. Download 'Windows Hide Tool' 3. Run 'Windows Hide Tool' 4. Right click in the task bar and choose 'Hide all windows' to hide all, or to hide an individual window make sure that window is the only one maximised and choose 'hide window' until it disappears. Botting with Laptop Lid Closed 1. Go to the windows start button and search "Power" 2. Click "Change What the Power Buttons Do" 3. Choose: When I close the lid "Do nothing"- on battery and plugged in 4. Once you're done, save changes. You're welcome. Honorable Mentions: Aza

  4. Hello, first of all I am sorry if this is in the wrong section, it seemed to be the most logical section to post this in in my eyes. The reason I am posting this is, I recently noticed that many people do not understand how the break timer actually works, I know to some this may seem easy, and make this post unneccesary, but I think this still needs to get out there So here it goes: Average interval: is after how long do you want it to take a break? Interval deviation: How long can it vary from the interval time Break time: how long does it take a break? Break time deviation: how long can it vary from the break time Example: I want it to take a break every 2-4 hours, for 30-60 min Average interval: 180 min (=3 hour) Interval dev: 60 min (so it can vary from 180-60 to 180+60 = 2-4 hour) Break time: 45 min Break time dev: 15 min (makes it vary from 45-15 to 45+15 min)

  5. Dear community, Over the past month we have seen a reign of cyber crime across the Runescape botting scene. vInsert was the victim of several Runescape account hacking disputes before its database got compromised in the merger with Aurora. Now Advertising other bots isn't allowed. was defaced as well and its database was compromised as well. This thread is to shed some light on our perspective towards those recent happenings. We have always tried to be in time with warnings to protect you as people, Runescape players and us as a community and succeeded in doing this. But as this wave is continuing we have to give it more attention. In general everything we do is with security in mind, that means our security (both personal and OSBot's) and your security. With the recent happenings we have decided that we will take an entire day to go through each and every security measurement we have and see if there is anything that can be improved without harming any user experience. We feel sad for the victims of those attacks even though they might be competitors in some sort of way, we do not and will never condone DDoS'ing, hacking and any other sort of black hat activity. OSBot itself also has been victim of attacks, may it only be DDoS attacks though. We are increasing measurements taken to automatically mitigate such attacks. If such attacks will continue we will alarm authorities and file a report. We will be collecting network connection logs in case. I'm repeating myself, but we will never condone any cyber crime and black hat activity by ourselves, our community members and others. OSBot is a place where people should feel safe and comfortable. Sincerely, OSBot.org

  8. General rules Any member is free to do services, however members should be aware of who a provider is before they purchase or trade for service. Such acknowledgements would include vouches and their trader feedback. Scamming is not allowed. If clear enough someone can be found guilty it will result in a permanent ban from the forums, most probably by IP and or in other ways. OSBot is not liable for any of your losses using our market and will not refund in any way, shape or form on behalf of members of our community. If you are scammed, you can post a report in the appropriate section. No changes shall be made to the Runescape or forum account of the buyer that are not directly authorized by him or her, this would be marked as scamming. No external links to other websites providing vouches or services are allowed, everything must be from within the OSBot community. There is a reason we have a feedback system, and also a reason why we have middlemen. We want you to use OUR website. I hope you can understand. Most of us know that PA is safe, and secure way to buy/sell GP, but the rules of the market are simply stated above. We are to enforce them until they have changed. Happy Trading!
