I don't see what's wrong with people asking wtf is up with their client though

 

 

Being able to see if client is up/down before entering chatbox would be gud, but it'd have to be automated for it to be effective. I could think of a few possible ways to handle that tho

We had a big ass pic at the top and no1 noticed it so they removed it and put a sidebar and the sidebar rarely gets updated about status.
