The future of OSRS?

Featured Replies

Hi, I've just been wondering what the future holds for OSRS, I feel that the updates have no quality, thus the lack of excitement will draw players away sooner or later, what do you guys think?

Monkey Madness II is coming out, that's sure to be exciting. And Zeah was pretty big. I think it still has a lot to go. :/

++ on monkey madness, but yeah exactly about Zeah, seems like a huge boring place :/

It has died out a lot to me, the only exciting thing there is for me involving OSRS is watching the streams, holiday events/new items, and botting.

I'm hoping for some graphics updates maybe bring the game back to the 2011 look omg that would be amazing.

I think runescape will never be the same look in past there where like 300k+ online now its like 30-40k. Its not fun to play it these days as there not much players online + they make stupid updates like Ge

it won't die out, people have said rs will for over 10 years now, never happens

Yeah, I'd say about the same and I believe that's the last thing driving things forward lol.

Haha I know right, you can't quit it :D

They'll milk it for every last dime they can.

I think rs3 will die before oldschool, but Jagex has went down hill since Andrew sold it.

Couldn't agree more... :/ Since Mark Gerhard jumped on, the removal of wildy and all that stuff...

People who think RS is done are incorrect, there will always be players playing, and if not them, us the botters will be. As long as RS is out there OSBot will stand strong unless the developer and scripters decide to call it quits, which is a very very low possibility.

Jagex Mods have literally confirmed that it's actually growing right now as much as it did when it first came out, so it's definitely not dying. The updates are sometimes nice and sometimes shit but It's still a really fun game. :doge:
