i've seen a bunch of people with the top picture and most with the bottom one. Is there a difference? or is the top one people changing their picture to it and the bottom one the default? or is there a specific criteria to get the top one as default?

I wanted to say maybe you start with the default one. Then after changing your ava and removing it you get the second one
