1. A description of the issue


The client interactions at the moment are really annoying.


Multiple people have bene complaining over several scripts. (Not only my scripts)


 


Example:


Interacting Thightropes on rooftop agility, the client missclick the object 3-4 times. Even though the player is standing still and the object is right next tio him.


Yes Screen is default and fixed screen ofc. 


 


Another Exmaple:


Interaction NPC, if the NPC is moving the client will move the mouse the npc locations, but in meantime npc ran a bit further.


So it move again, but again the npc moved. Sometimes it takes over 20 sec to even click an NPC.


Even though the mouse moved onto the NPC and the NPC moved right after, it will missclick it and walk where you clicked.


 


Another exmpample:


Tendrils in abyss, It's a pretty big obstacle, but the model I kinda strange.


I was running it bcs I got some complains and the client actually missclicked the tendrils 7 times in a row.


This caused my almost maxed accoutn to get killed 50%.


Imagine if this was a low lvl account -_-

Happends in the latest versions (100-104) Maybe even earlier.


 


This really need a fix or I'll be forced to make my own custom interactions... :s

This is not narrow in scope and I'm not really sure what I should focus my effort on. A single interaction is comprised of hundreds of lines executing.

 

I do have my own scripts, one which kills NPCs and the other which chops trees down. Both are not having any interaction issues. I'll go ahead and test some small/odd shaped objects and see if there are any issues with interaction. If you don't mind, please take a little bit more time to narrow your findings to something specific so we can test the issue together.

Morning Alek! I seem to have a lot of misclicks while performing interaction tasks such as opening the bank. It seems that in pretty much all of my scripts, the bot will always misclick and click another option on the menu for opening the bank (Ex. The collections box or talk to banker).

Thanks for that information but it's not matching what Khaleesi's issue is.

 

Also for those wondering what I'm looking for:

 

 

RS2Object bankBooth = getObjects().closest("Bank booth");

returns false.

 

Description:

The mouse moves correctly to the bank booth and proceeds to right-click the entity. When the menu is open, the mouse proceeds to click an area outside of the desired menu selection.

 

 From reading what you are reporting and what Khaleesi reported, are these two different types of misclicks? Is he reporting a misclick on the entity and you are reporting a misclick on the menu?

The misclick on the actual entity happens, but not as frequent as the misclick on the menu

I watched my script kWarriors for 30 minutes, no noticeable issues with the NPC interactions. Do you have any specific entities that you would like me to test on (that doesn't require any crazy quests to get to)?

Try bigger monsters, perhaps monsters with uneven contour like dragons for instance.

I'd prefer not going on a wild witch hunt; I would prefer if the OP gave something specific for me to test that pertains to his specific issue (which I don't think is large models).
