I plageriarized my essay in school, (yes I know im a fucking idiot) and my teacher told my class today whoever the one doesn't show up by monday at lunch will fail the course. I am at like 60% and if I fail this essay im done, what should I do? I am obviously going to show up early in the morning but im thinking I should re write the essay myself and tell my teacher I was scared because I got low on my practice exam so I plageriazed. Any thoughts? I am freaking out rn..

When you mean plagiarized like the whole essay or parts of it?

Be honest. Tell her that you messed up and will put in the effort to complete it by yourself. If you just give her excuses she most likely won't let you redo it.

I have never been caught for Plagiarism, but I would have it re-written before you go in. Tell her you screwed up and you know it, and hand her the new one. 

 

If you are lucky, she will only count a few %'s off and still grade the new one.

Whatever you do, don't say that.

 

Admit, explain, be honest, don't panic.

 

 

Man up and tell the truth. A friend of mine did it and if shes a nice person she'll maybe leave you with a warning.

Yeah just tell her you messed up and bring a new essay that's entirely your own work with you.

If she's a nice person then she will just let you off with a warning hopefully.

DO NOT EVER PLAGIARIZE. I made the mistake and never again will I make it. Honesty is better than cheating. You rather get a 50% than a 0% and an honor code violation. <_<

Don't listen to these people. If she doesn't know which one of you did it, never admit it. Write a new essay and hand it to her and say you're just being the bigger man here. This way you look better without admitting fault.

Long shot but you could say you had that essay as reference and you handed the wrong one in! (Very big longshot)
