Zebrafon
Do not bot on a fresh account, especially F2P. Play on it legit for a week, buy membership, and then bot. I am botting on an account for 2 weeks now and I am fine. It's not the mirror client that's getting detected, it's your greediness. End of story. Yggdrasil
Alright, this is pissing me off. I literally just bought a new computer for $1200 a week ago just to bot w/ OSBot's mirror mode. It has 32gb RAM and Top AMD cpu. The things is... Every night I get banned. I get new IP-Adresses that aren't flagged - I also remove jagex cache and random.dat file Every every every time the bots get banned. It only lasts for max 12 hours in f2p - I've tried different methods like chickens, shrimps, lobsters. Summary and Question: How the fuck is there a way to Jagex to track me down? I thought Mirror Mode was the new marvel. They aren't tracking you. You just aren't being smart about it (no offense intended). Maybe try paying for membership and play legit for a little while, instead of paying $1200 on a new computer. Also, you can easily bot on a cheap 4gb ram laptop. Another piece of advice is to do some quests, to further not seem like a bot. Even then it's no guarantee that you won't get banned, but I bot up to 12 hours on mirror mode daily. Still not banned. Reasons for getting banned: - Fresh account - F2p ( gets montitored way way more then p2p) - Your accounts is the same as the other 90% botters. (no quests, no skills, not customized char, no clothing) - botting in crowded areas - How do you know the Ip's aren't flagged? Jagex did improve there anti-bottign soft very well xD They really focus new account very very hard. Mirror modes does decrease the bann rate. This doesn't make you invincible ... Botting will get you banned most likely... Edited April 14, 2015 by Khaleesi
Ericthecmh
That doesn't make any sence. Mod Weath stated many times, that they do NOT ban bots based on their login time. It doesnt make sence to me how long You bot. Because those 'goldfarmers' that also play on browsers, are logged in 24/7. Example: And the US government says they don't have spies in other countries. And yet spies are found every few years. You can't trust what people say Mirror modes does decrease the bann rate. This doesn't make you invincible ... Botting will get you banned most likely... Or so we think. There's no realy statistical proof, and it would probably be impossible to obtain this. But we can hope

Pecman
I fully understand and I agree with everything above, but the thing that pisses me off. How can Jagex ban me? There is no way that they can see that I'm using a macro What the fuck are you saying? They're the developers of RuneScape, of course they would know who the fuck is botting and who isn't on their own game.

InfinityExists
botting f2p = instant ban no matter what you do........ False, all my bots are F2P atm, none have been touched.
Flamezzz
f2p accounts can be botted, but I suggest you alternate tasks every 30-60 min for the first week or so. On a new account they don't have much data acquired obviously, so if fagex detects you walked along 20 waypoints of which 10 have been repeated for several hours, it looks kinda suspicious. Same thing for object/npc interaction and all other shit they keep track of.
Mumble
If you wanted to make an account go through tutorial island and then just hop on it every once in a while and do something for a couple minutes and log off, get some time since creation on the account and some play time on the account before you start botting. And switch bots and the task you're doing and do it for less amounts of time.
