    Also, this woman just threw out $600 and you then proceed to buy her a $700 laptop, lol. I'd be like your laptop money went in the trash got dammit!!

    But 17" laptops are meant to be power houses, more or less. With what you described, she just needs any weak laptop with just a lot of storage. Any real reason it has to be 17"?

    Hey this is my computer (kinda).
    I have the special edition one.
    and black not purple, good computer/10

    Does she need to do anythig else or does she just need like pictures/webbrowsing/music?! You could get a computer that can do all this for like 400

    17 inch seems nice upon purchase, but in the long run it will be a real hassle to take it everywhere.
