ProjectPact
If anything, you could always spoof your en0 or en1/en2 addresses to double layer that VPN or Proxy lol. Would it work? Possibly. Do I have statistics, no. Edited May 4, 2016 by ProjectPact

next_god
Interesting theory, it does make sense. Testing can be done to prove this.

madago227
If not client, what other 'magical place' do you expect it to be at? OSRS client itself collects and sends this information to server: os arch os name and version java vendor java version number of processor cores available maximum heap size (even this can get you flagged, because official clients usually have a maximum heap size explicitly set to 256m) Then there's also the random.dat file, which is used for various purposes including tracking and linking accounts of the same owner. The way it works is quite simple, it's simply just a randomly generated 192 bit unique number that get's sent on login, if such file does not exist client creates it. Viewing the properties of random.dat and checking 'read-only' and 'hidden' allows multiple accounts to log into the same world at the same time. Would this affect anything being sent to the server regarding linked accounts? Also on the osbot client when using multiple profiles WITHOUT 'read-only' or 'hidden' checked you are able to log multiple accounts into the same world at the same time. Does osbot spoof the random.dat or clear it every new profile? Using the default profile for multiple clients doesn't enable the ability to log into the same world on multiple accounts. Pandas
Is this still relevant? Like what if I did it would it mess up my main that I don't not on too?

Imagine if someone bought a used laptop that used to bot before. The chances of this happening are slim to none, just like the chances of Jagex flagging HWID.
