Gameboy was the first thing I got, and damn, I can tell you that I spent like 24/7 playing Pokemon! ;)

I got a small electronic toy in my happy meal when I was like 8 if that counts.

i grew up playing C&C too, it's amazing

I got a gameboy color with super mario bros deluxe when I was 6, fell in love with gaming from then on =).

 

Although my very 1st game device was this math thing that was a handheld but all it did was ask you math questions in addition,subtraction,multiplication and division. I mastered it and was really good at math for awhile, then algebra happened and ruined everything. I also had lots of education pc games before I finally got my gameboy color which was my actual first video game system.
