Botre Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I didn't see ads before I got my veteran rank. Now I do but I still have my other SDN Scripter privileges (access to private forum, multiple tabs, etc...). I don't really mind them and I'm not even 100% sure if "No ads" is a SDN Scripter privilege in the first place (maybe I was bugged and now it's back to normal), but if I'm not supposed to see them then I'd rather not :p Thank you for your time

It's not that much of a bother if you think of it OSBot is a free platform where it makes money off advertising so its only respect that you view those lovely ads ^_^ 1

SDN scripters bring in a bit of revenue (more accessible good free scripts => more VIP, premium scripts => commissions) I guess that's the reason why they have that privilege. Like I've said before, I don't really care but if it's a bug I figured I should report it :p

The ads are added directly through the template so that ad blocker doesn't "automatically" block them. They pay us to put their site on here, so most groups are seeing them, so they keep coming to us. 2
