This is the end of my RuneScape career. I am leaving the game and anything related to it. This means I am no longer developing scripts for the client. This is a quite a big decision I'm making right now considering I have been playing the game since middle school but it's for the best. I must focus on my studies and the big world out there. RuneScape as well as League of Legends are just major distractions. 3-4 weeks I went through my first lot of exams this year and all I can say is that, it was hard work. I stopped updating my scripts for a while so I thought it would be best for me to just stop. But yeah, I'm leaving.

 

I'm aiming to be accepted into a Software Engineering course. Since the age of 12 (now 18) I have been toying around with Java and other programming languages. I taught myself watching YouTube vidoes and whatnot. It's now time to turn my hobby into a paying career. To all of my script users, I'm very sorry.

 

tl;dr I must focus on my studies.

cya man, best of luck! i quit when i was 18 as well 3 years later and im back on scape lol. u can never truly 100% quit it forever unless the game shuts down or turns into rs3

Way to leave all your scripts outdated for a month before announcing you are leaving. Right thing to do is to update them one last time, or give them to someone else.
