I honestly don't think they will make any real client detection. I am really just expecting a bluff or maybe just checking the client name 🤷‍♂️

Pretty much. Currently you can run bot clients through the Jagex launcher so either they don't have anything right now or it's just not active

Good. I hope the follow through with it. That way they can clean up the game and eliminate bots once and for all

If you mean OpenOSRS then no I doubt it. If you mean OSBot then if they check the client name then there will probably be some name spoofing added yes.

just read that they will do a 2 week ban for using a non-approved client is stupid.
