It's fairly easy to link users to your discord to avoid impostors.

1) Get your discord user id (Mine is 488532062542888960)

 

 

2) Add your discord id to the end of https://discordapp.com/users/ (https://discordapp.com/users/488532062542888960 is mine)

 

That's it. Stop getting impostor scammed.

Is there a way to directly start a conversation via some discord url? 

Since @Fruity already had your way on http://isthebotdown.com/ for a long time but wasnt able to get it to actually start a dm
