Anyone ever wonder if jagex goes around purchasing bots to see how they work in order to get a better idea on how to ban people?

It would be stupid if they wouldn't do it. I also think that they already know how to completely eliminate 99% of the publicly available bots but they just tend to rake in more money as long as they can and just toy around with us.

and for them to have such a developed bot busting system i'm 90% sure of that.

but, if i remember correctly, one of ther lead coders actually switched sides before as he was a bot maker in the beginning before jagex hired him for there bot busting program

If they buy your script, surely that's a compliment to your scripting abilities? 

is this why some ppl can bot to over 50m xp in one certain skill (mining etc), without getting caught. Because their botscript is not public or released.

ye from ardybots , tho i have to admit , those bots were the shit back in the day haha

 

They probably make new accounts and ask for trials every couple weeks

And @Czar really thinks those are potential customers
