November 9, 20196 yr Anyone ever wonder if jagex goes around purchasing bots to see how they work in order to get a better idea on how to ban people?

November 9, 20196 yr It would be stupid if they wouldn't do it. I also think that they already know how to completely eliminate 99% of the publicly available bots but they just tend to rake in more money as long as they can and just toy around with us.
November 9, 20196 yr i think they do tbh, as there is not a better way to understand how they work. and for them to have such a developed bot busting system i'm 90% sure of that. but, if i remember correctly, one of ther lead coders actually switched sides before as he was a bot maker in the beginning before jagex hired him for there bot busting program
November 10, 20196 yr If they buy your script, surely that's a compliment to your scripting abilities?
November 10, 20196 yr is this why some ppl can bot to over 50m xp in one certain skill (mining etc), without getting caught. Because their botscript is not public or released.
