i work in a company where there is thousands of people working in the same facility. i am not allowed to talk too much about it.

long story short, I am not a foreman, but I basicly SHOULD have authority over other people in order to do my job, but it never works out. I always have to call the foreman to handle the situation for me because my co-workers wont accept the fact that I have the rights to tell them what to do in certain situations. fucking pisses me off daily.

sounds like it is time to quit, you will NOT change the system ( there is a reason for you not having the certain amount of authority ), on the other hand you can work at a place which suits you more

protip: start by uploading your CV to headhunter portals & sow the info that you are looking for a change amongst your friends

Why don't you technically have the power to tell them what to do? You say you should, does that mean you're doing work / taking on responsibilities that are above your current job title? If so, why not ask for a promotion? If you're already doing the work, you should be getting recognition.

Because I fall in between. I need other people to do their job in order for me to do so. 

What I do is something which can cause the process to stop and cost millions to the company. If not done in time, and other people rarely realise that I am in a hurry and I dont ask for unloadings for a certain trailer just because I want to be a dickhead. I ask it because if the trailer is not unloaded and the process stops it suddenly turns out to be my fault according to my superiors. Fkfnfkdndn
