    Why are people telling him to go to google or youtube etc?

    He's clearly asking for someone who has 0 knowledge as well to learn together. Not asking for someone with lots of knowledge to spoon feed him along the path.

     

    Sometimes learning as a duo is better than solo.

    Motivation, some people are better at certain aspects than others etc.

    Looking back, headfirst java isnt necessaey if you only care abouy basic java and osbot. 

    Wish i would have saved the $25 and time spent on it
