Lazy and uncaring are relative terms. If everyone was industrious and caring than there would still be lazy and uncaring people because the portion of the population which was below average in those categories would be considered lazy/uncaring. Hating people for reasons like that is like hating for someone for not being able to break the right end of a stick off.
