depends on what you consider contact. I wouldnt be surprised if there are some microorganisms on some close planet/comet.

 

Finding anything else wouldnt really be realistic in our lifetime and if there are very advanced aliens they probably dont care about us since we are just a bunch of monkeys for them

It all depends on luck tbh, we can either come in contact with aliens tomorrow or in 10,000 years. Realistically though, the technology to actually go out looking for them to be available will most likely not be in our life time (with the assumption there is another 'alien' species roaming the galaxies)

do some research on big hackers and one of them got caught breaking into files for area 51 and if the worlds has had contact with over life off of earth, and all he said at the judge table was " i have found what i was looking for" so
