Q: I downloaded the client but i can’t open it, what shall i do?

 

 A: Make sure you have java installed, you can check this at www.java.com 

 

 

 

Q: I downloaded the client, how do i use it now?

Q: Usualy the bot works but not at the moment, whats wrong?

 

 A: In 99% is the client offline due to an update. Be patient and wait for the developers to fix it. 

 

 

 

Q: How do i add scripts to the client?

 

 A: SDN Scripts: Use the in build script browser over the client.

          B: Local Scripts: Download the jar from the forums, copy or move it to your osbot script folder.    

            (Windows: start search osbot // Mac: Finder search osbot -> this mac)

 

 

 

 

Q: Can i get banned if i am using this bot?

 

 A: There is always a risk to get banned if you use a 3rd party client. 

 

 

 

Q: How can i remove the ads on the client?

 

 A: If you purchase VIP, the ads will be removed automatic. 

 

 

 

Q: Is it possible to bot multiple accounts at the same time?

 

 A: Yes, you have to be VIP or Sponsor for unlimited Bot-Tabs. 

 

 

 

Q: My osbot scripts got deleted, what shall i do?

 

 A: Either it's because the scripter failed to update it and it got removed from the sdn or it's because it was purchased when osbot 1 was around. Osbot 1 scripts got discontinued during the transition towards osbot 2.

Q: How do i add local scripts on a Mac?

 

 1-> open Finder

2-> search osbot

3-> click this mac

4-> click the folder called OSbot

5-> Click the folder called scripts

6-> move your local scripts here/paste your local scripts here.

7-> restart osbot, refresh and you should see your local scripts.

 

 

 

 

Q: My notifications aren't showing up anymore

 

 A: Rightclick your notifications icon and open them in a new tab. It'll resolve itself after a while.

Considering the layout of this forum is different to others that I'm used to. I'd like to see something like a newcomers guide. What to read, as in stickies, where the rules are. I literally couldn't find the rules and had to ask a few people. Realised after they're hidden under Help.

In the Rules there's the market rules but they're broken, so I had to ask where I could access these. So basically like a list of how to use the forum; what ranks are available and what do they mean. Those sort of things that can aid a newcomer easily into the site, especially if they're not used to bots, or the main agenda and aim that the site portrays.

my problem is the following:

the random dismisser seems to do it's job. but i've seen that on my second / third screen.

It won't dismiss the random event. (the box is checked on) 

Any ideas on how can i fix this? i'l try to get a script log when it happens
