I like to have extra power incase I start upgrading or fancying up my PC. Sometimes I get close to 950 watt and my PC should only reach about 700-800.

Then you are one of the VERRRRY few. Stop acting like you know something about OS.... You can google anywhere and Win8 might look better or run a bit faster, but until the problems have been fixed and patched enough to where you don't want to pull your hair out, people are gna hate.

I'm always against laptops for gaming. If you want to game and you are looking forward to upgrading your PC in the future then definitely go with a desktop. But if you travel a lot or must have a laptop, then I can recommend some good hardware. What specs are you looking for? If you're not sure on the specs, lemme know what gaming you're hoping to do.

Ohhh well you're probably going to need at least 16gb of ram. Other than that those specs should work fine. Desktops are best for engineering projects, my father does a lot of engineering designing and his computer is super beefy. He had me order all the parts because he doesn't have a clue but holy cow did it need way more specs than i thought. All I remember is him needing 32 gb of ram.

Apple has such good looking products, but if you like not emptying your wallet, being able to configure and personalize your device without having to hack it then Apple sucks

The you have more than enough in this laptop If you want to save some cash I can probably recommend a better laptop that still meets you're needs.

When people say 8 and the topic is computers, obv they are probably referring to the PC version.... It's new so there aren't enough updates. There's so many issues in games especially with mouses and keyboards. I've been fixing desktops for about 2-3 years now and there have been so many problems with wifi. We aren't positive what the issue is (we're not the Microsoft techs) but there seems to be issues with the drivers. There are so many problems and little gimicks that are aggriating and it's not worth the effort.

I'm on vacation and on my cousin's laptop he has the same issue with his internet, but it only occurs after using the laptop for some time. It's also the only device on the network that this happens to. My best guess is a problem with the laptop's wifi card. As for the Date and Time, try setting it in the bios. Don't reinstall an OS unless you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TOO!!! If you don't know what you are doing, you can get yourself into a worse situation. Reinstalling an OS is easy but only when you know what you're doing.

Nice setup, I recommend using tigerdirect or newegg. Tigerdirect has a lot of good sales but newegg is better for warranty.

Windows 8 sucks compared to 7. Unless you designed it, you just can't use Win8 unless you're willing to submit to insanity or a broken computer. Linux is one of the best OS, but win7 is the best for all around uses. Mac can go to hell.

Chrome is the best idc what anyone says. Many reviews argue that Firefox is better but Chrome is all around better. Plus it's got Adblock

What are you looking to use your laptop for? I could recommend a good gaming laptop. This laptop is pretty good all around. I would definitely recommend getting a SSD. It's safer, more reliable and a good backup.
