Are you positive that you did not accidentally choose too high of a hitpoints to eat at, causing it to always trigger eating? If not, please send me a message on Discord.

Which food are you using? Try Lobsters if you're not using those and let me know if that works better. As for the latter; currently there is no way for this to be changed on your end I'm afraid.

It automatically progresses through different objects when leveling up. But it's honestly in beta and not entirely stable so if you encounter issues with it, its best to stick to the regular mode.
