= off Is this a general OSRS client bug or is it because of OSBot? (using MM) Visually my run energy is toggled 'ON' but it's actually off, and vice versa. It affects the scripts as well, OSBot defaults to walking instead of running when this bug occurs.

What difference does checking the box make? You already launch the mirror client by clicking 'Mirror' and it doesn't automatically launch the OSRS client with the box checked either.. at least not for me? ty.

I've had some decent success botting several 99's in F2P (and no garbo fast skills like cooking) without getting any bans, F2P XP rates are way slower as well. My approach isn't very useful if you're just trying to use alts to make cash/rwt etc and of course it could just be coincidental that I've not been banned but my account has lasted several years where 95% of the time played has been using OSBot, so it has survived ban waves. My general approach has been to think about how an actual humanbeing would play/build an account and adjust my botting behavior around this. First when I started my account I made sure that the account didn't seem "expendable", so I used an old login ID instead of a freshly created one. I made sure it had all the things a legit account would have but a mass botter would never be bothered to do, security questions, 2-factor authentication, email linked to the account etc. I always familiarize myself with a script very well and figure out all of its patterns and issues before I leave it unsupervised for longer periods of time. A script might work perfectly for 20 hours then you find out that because of a ground object that obfuscates a tile near your leveling area, the bot will on rare occasions get stuck clicking the same shit for hours and hours. I don't bother with proxies because lists of proxy IP's are available online, of course a legit player could also be using a proxy but the likeliness that the person is cheating is probably way, way higher. Unless you know exactly wtf you're doing with proxies, or you're simply suicide botting I'd say don't bother. I started out playing the account legit for a couple hours here and there but using the OSBot client, incase the client itself causes some immediate suspicion. I wanted to avoid being caught while the incentive to watch my player behavior was the strongest. When I started mixing in some botting and some legit playing I made sure to keep my habits a bit varied, especially at the start. Once you reach most stats to like ~70 and you've completed some quests and other side activities it makes more sense that a player would be inclined to grind 1 specific skill for longer periods of time, at that point people are generally trying to hit the milestone of 99's. I only bot within a schedule that makes sense, my IP is located within a certain timezone so I don't bot over night and try to take breaks that make some logical sense. I don't do retarded stuff like play for 50 hours straight taking a break every 4 hours for 1-2 hours. At that point you might as well bot without breaks 24/7, from a player behavior perspective it's basically the same. I keep in mind human fatigue when botting, I don't do super click intensive activities for 14 hours a day every day. If I wanna bot a lot of hours I do mostly semi-afk activities even if it lowers my xp/h slightly or I do a couple of hours of click intensive stuff, take a small break and then do something more afk. The closer I am to 99 the more I allow myself to tunnel on 1 activity and play more intensely, real players do this as well. I only run 1 account at once per PC. Basically don't just turn your brain off and your bot on. When you're botting, botting is the game.

Are there no hotkeys available for this, do you have to manually click the buttons on top of the client now? I've looked at old threads but keybinds from threads like this and this one are out of date now. Having to manually move the mouse to the top of the client causes a lot of interferance with what the script is trying to do, causing the cursor to teleport all around the screen.

Hey, haven't used OSBot in a long time. Can someone give me a quick rundown on all the keybinds and/or other useful features in OSBot that you use frequently? (Or link me a good thread that explains all of it, I couldn't find any stickies for it and Google results are giving me wrong/out of date info) Start/Stop/Pause/Lock Mouse & KB etc.. Also I remember being able to change the "Reaction: XX ms." (mirror mode) with a hotkey.

Checking if there is anyone here that has some knowledge surrounding very old accounts recoveries.. I have recovered an account that is from the 2001-2002 era. Logging in to the account on RS3 of course prompted me to pick a new name since the login ID is a short IRL name but the account was also a completely fresh lvl 3 on tutorial island, how come? I am almost certain the account was played on before because I found it through old RS fansites/forums from back in 2002-2003. Is this because when RS2 was first launched your RSC character and all of its stats/items would be converted upon login? And since this account has never even played RS2 the conversion from RSC never happened? Unfortunately I can't even check RSC at this point since Jagex killed it off. I assume the chance that Jagex would restore the RSC stats/items to RS3 upon request is low. Anyway, the Hans dialogue states that the account was created 7636 days ago, which is the cap on account age. Tracking started on 27 February 2002, the day memberships were released. All accounts older than this will show that day as their creation date. Any insight would be cool.

Yep, got the same issue. Script stops working and at that point if you click stop/pause it freezes all client interactivity but the actual game is still running (enemies walking around etc. you just can't move, turn or interact with any client functions) You have to get back to the login screen to avoid getting a freeze once you press stop/pause, so either get 10-min logged for inactivity or logout manually using the PGUP hotkey to toggle your mouse back on. Once logged out you can stop/pause without freezing the client. If it freezes you have to use the task manager to force-close the client though. I've reinstalled both clients and cleared my cache and re-downloaded java as well. It seems, although I can't say definitively, that doing some of these things might help: Running the client in low CPU mode, using Perfect Fighter's performance mode (low CPU or whatever it's called) and for some reason setting the java.exe process to: Priority > Low. From what I can tell it seems to happen if the client starts screwing with your CPU which sometimes happens really fast (~30 min) but sometimes it can go for like 4-5 hours. The memory use doesn't seem to be the problem for me at least, it can go through the roof and I still seem to be fine (16GB ram, the memory use sometimes goes up by 4-5 times over the course of a couple hours compared to right after launching the client and starting a script). And as I said this is just what seems to reduce the frequency of the issue for me but it still happens so it could just be circumstantial, idk.

Mine was fairly similar in terms of creation date ~4,200 days or so, never played OSRS so starting on tut island. Been botting F2P for 1 month now 7-12 hrs a day (mixing AFK methods with more click intensive things) but skipped a couple of days when I was super busy and couldn't check in on the bot at all. Never over night, always during daytime with some minor breaks. Usually try to be somewhat consistent with breaks to mimic a schedule that makes sense for my time zone.. albeit a "no-lifing schedule" (like lunch, dinner etc..) and I avoided botting for the first day and just played legit through the OSBot client doing various tasks, did most of the quests, with very varied skilling and moneymaking, also never muled any cash over. So far so good I guess? Kinda figured I would be banned by now but I'm not complaining! Doing like 1-2 hours of botting a day just sounds boring af and even if I botted for 100 days straight with no bans I'd get what..? 150 hours of progress? Wohoooo.....

So you were leveling one-dimensionally on a fresh throwaway account straight off the boat and it got banned, followed by a ban on your main? I would assume that your throwaway was flagged and caught then your main got caught by association. (Same IPs, same MAC addresses, same passwords, same local java files, on several devices as well? Phone, laptop - desktop as well?) Seems like you gave Jagex a lot of information to work with, did you bot on these 2 accounts concurrently as well? They're not gonna boot you offline instantly and ban you unless your name is 374 pike 214 and you've got 10 concurrent connections from fresh accounts all doing the same thing.

@TheWind It's quite slow, is that intentional or is it just because I'm running the client in MM? It's going at like ⅓ the max burying speed if you compare to doing it by hand. Besides that it's clean and works well! Used it a while ago for ~25-43 prayer.
