I don't even have a script on the market right now. I haven't seen any sale reports / summaries, I have no idea. Providers were pissed off with the previous market, consumers are pissed off with the current one, give it some time; Give the developers some time to analyse the market's financial reports and adjust their strategy accordingly. I'm tired of this all-or-nothing behavior, moaning and drama.

Do you have access to every OSB2 script's sale summary? Didn't think so. Don't draw conclusions without any actual data. Once we have some more real data, not just forum complaints, we'll be able to adapt our strategies.

That's not why monthly fees were made mandatory AT ALL.

We are setting the price bar a bit higher because the previous market was horrible and not very rewarding for scripters especially longterm-wise. If demand plummets then I'm sure the prices will be adapted.

You will have to write a custom method for it. Add all RS2 objects and NPCs to a list and then go through that list by checking for all entities that have either Exit or Use in their actions then return the closest of that subset. I would give you the method but I'm releasing an ess miner myself, no hard feelings :p
