No I'm using stealth injection. Yes it's fixed.

I'm cutting with this in the forest near Land's End. I've selected custom area...selected powerchopping near some tree's (radius is 5)...and yet all it wants to do is walk back to the dock at Land's End? Not sure what I could've done wrong here?

Is it possible for the script to use the Nardah bank? My character seems to try to bank elsewhere. That said I also tried it in Al-Kharid on the guards and it teleported back to edgeville to bank. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

All good!

I know that the common knowledge is that it only prevent chains bans....but a couple of weeks ago if I ran two bots on the same IP, they were banned in a couple of hours. I found running them on separate proxies extended account life. Happy to chat more over PM if you like.

I don't...but the thread never spoke of this...not sure what to say? You mean twitch? Yes very much so! Although the longer term trend started before even that. Great points!

I think most botters would be familiar with the upward trend of bond prices over the past few years. http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_oldschool/viewitem?obj=13190 I believe that this trend is set to continue. i) Bond prices aren't yet high enough to price many bots out of the market. i.e. the bond cost still low enough for many methods to be viable. ii) Cheap osrs gold by definition allows players to buy more of it for each dollar they spend. This inflates the osrs value of items in game for which supply doesn't increase by the same amount. One good example of this is bonds. iii) Issues in many poverty stricken nations are becoming worse. As such, their citizens have little choice but to turn to online games to earn dollars which are often more in demand than their respective national currencies. Anyone have a counter-thesis?

Using proxy vs. home IP address for botting
Probability replied to Noob2Bot's topic in Botting & Bans
It's really a bit of an economics question. Bans occur faster on commercial proxies, but they are a good deal cheaper. As such, use these for accounts that you don't mind getting banned daily. E.g a f2p account where there's no bond at stake and it takes 5 mins to make another. Use residential proxies for accounts that you need to keep around a while, like an account with high requirements or a bond. Residential proxies tend to have lower ban rates but it will cost you more. You should try to reset the residential proxy once it's been banned (either by turning the modem on/off or requesting a new IP). Keep in mind that in both instances you are very likely to get banned (and you should assume you will and consider a no-ban as a lucky break), but you can optimise the rewards of botting before this occurs. -
It's most likely moving them around. Sure you could make a script which does the moves automatically....but fair bit of work/bug testing required when you could just move it yourself.

Have you tried looking at how many bots are on each IP? I'd hazard a guess that if 10 accounts are all making planks on the same ip then it's more likely a bot farm than a group of plank enthusiasts

"Too many login attempts. Please wait a few minutes before trying again." I was surprised to see this message pop up today on a script I wrote which does a lot of world hopping. I suspect that whilst Jagex are now allowing for many more world hops, they still have some limit (albeit it's quite large). I haven't been able to get around this by changing IP (residential) or deleting jagex cache files. Keen to hear other ideas or can answer questions about what I've done so far.

Check wc xp and it'll be fine

I think this technique has been mentioned multiple times..over multiple years..on several parts of the forum...is it really that secret? But I'm not sure I'd call this a more 'safe' technique. I'd imagine that after the 3rd time you tell Jagex that you were hacked..it's going to start looking a tad odd...you might even get eventually declined, attempt to contact Weath and he'd quickly find out what's going on.

You should only bot agility on an account you're willing to lose..and you'd probably do a few accounts at once and hope at least one makes it though unbanned... Hence it should never be done on your favourite main account...only on rubbish accounts where you need the agility levels for something else.

Thanks Heist for the link. For anyone reading, I believe that the clicks have actually been randomised so this shouldn't be a problem.

This is probably your simplest solution. After a certain amount of gp, have that mule transfer to a grand mule. You might have to keep in mind requirements like 7 qp if in f2p to trade.

I think the idea is to make it less like the 'other' bots out there. Maybe observe what they do and have your script act differently. There is a theory that Jagex's detection algorithm using machine learning to develop profiles for certain kinds of bots. Which is why free scripts have higher ban rates than private ones (unfortunately this idea may be biased in that those who pay/create scripts bot more cautiously than those who use free scripts....apologies to anyone who I've generalised about...). These machine identified accounts can be examined more closely. This enables you to go down from a large dataset of potential bots into a smaller one. E.g. Is it f2p? Yes -> Common botted action? Yes -> Level 3? Yes -> Account made 7 mins ago? Yes -> Onto closer screening. There's a point where the effort to be different isn't worth preventing a ban. So you have to keep this in mind.

Hello, Firstly, thanks to everyone for the wonderful forum. I began scripting about a week ago and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. Largely due to the wealth of information found on these forums. I've written my first which is a simple item gatherer. Several bans have already occurred (due to my scripting mistakes) and so I'm now playing around with different techniques to see what happens. I've read on these forums that some believe Jagex are collected the 'click->release time' of our mouses/keystrokes....I don't want to start a debate about it.....so let's pass that by. But, looking at the API, it seems that this can technically be controlled via 'continualClick' https://osbot.org/api/org/osbot/rs07/api/Mouse.html My question is, is it possible to use this method to set the way the bot treats all clicks in a script? i.e. create a random delay between when a click is made and released. EDIT: Example of what I mean: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37828078/java-thread-sleep-mousepress-delay

Hi @asdttt . I found your views very interesting. You've provided some evidence that Jagex monitors: i) Mouse movements. ii) Jagex would monitor click->release patterns. iii) Jagex reaction times. One problem I've noticed in the thread is that the pictures have expired. Would you be able to re-upload them or share in a way I could have a look? Thanks!
