If you get banned at home. change your ISP? That's the craziest thing I've heard all day. And in regards to using a VPN: Even if there are X amount of people on that same IP either botting or playing normal, Jagex does know what a VPN is and that its a common thing people use and wont ban you just because someone else on that IP got caught botting. Telling the difference between a residential and VPN IP is super easy, and they got to know that lots of people use one so it doesn't necessarily tie you to the others on that same VPN. I'm a fan of running bot farms on a VPN cause I've had lots of luck with it and its way cheaper. Just don't go run your main on a VPN....I guess.

Quests done for nmz are: Vampire slayer, Tree Gnome Village, Lost City, Holy Grail, and the grand tree. Got a fair amount of pest control points, but no wealth left on the account. It does have a 2 day ban on it, will that affect the going price? Thanks!

How is everyone doing with botting agility? How often do you see bans?

Will it be an open beta testing? Cause id love to try it out and give help through feedback if i can!

RWT bans are rare, so i suggest that you just bring it right to the account you plan on keeping it on because it limits the traffic that the history of the gold is traded to.

Just today I caught a 1 day ban while botting magic trees at woodcutting guild. Its a first time bonded out account, so I consider myself getting lucky with only a 1 day ban. I'm going to rest the account for a couple of weeks, and start botting on it again but ill probably change what I was botting and give it way longer breaks. The account isn't my main, and it bonded itself out, so idgaf if they hit me with a perma ban later as there is no point in me just holding onto the account without doing anything on it.....got to weigh the risk and reward. About a month ago I caught a 2 day ban on another one of my bonded accounts, then after that 2 day was up I immediately started botting the same thing again with the same schedules etc. and haven't been picked up again....but I don't plan to always be that lucky.

I use many of your scripts and I am always looking to help anywhere that I can! I even trust your fisher enough to use it on my main

Im currently running into a problem where cutting yews at the woodcutting guild only ever clicks on one yew tree, and when its gone doesnt click on any of the others and waits for the single tree to respawn. Im using the mode where you can select trees from the screen by clicking on them and that works! Just a minor bug i found, in an otherwise great script

Great input! This is what we need more of. I do think their algorithm gets smarter with every bot it picks up, but even their system has limits. No they cant monitor every account online for mouse movements and clicks, but they can narrow down what they will monitor with many of the factors you mentioned above. Sadly, it doesn't take much computing power to monitor how long you've been consecutively been playing, then narrow down those players to their mouse movements/actions, and then from there put those accounts in a list of "most likely botting to least likely" based off those algorithms. Then, maybe they will have their employees monitor those accounts because Jagex has people who look for the signs of botting for a living. They're good at what they do no doubt............but so are we

While covid keeps you by yourself, its the perfect opportunity to work on yourself! While we are a community based on cheating in a game, we are here for you! After all, we gotta stick together Proud of you! It really is a struggle, and there are some specific communities online that will help you with it as well. YOURE STRONG.

I recommend buying the osrs script factory. From there, you can create yourself and customize a script that will do very simple things (as the possibilities are endless) that will keep you logged in. For around $25 you can own the script factory that will do what you need, and then will be able to make whatever you want in the future.

I have been thinking about what I should make first now that i have bought the script factory, and I myself have thought that a script for big hill giant boss man would be very useful considering my lower level acc's take a whole inv of food to kill so theres a lot of walking back and forth (esp when i have like 50+ keys banked). When work stops sucking so much ass, I will start on one in the script factory and will consider putting it in the repository. Dont hold your breath however as life manages to find a way to cuck me on a regular basis. Love the idea though, and rest assured you are not alone! P.S. all you ACTUAL scripters.....wouldnt mind paying for one if it just so happens to be your next project, and seeing as hill giants are a common F2P mob im sure there would be many others.

Jagex has announced that Runescape will be coming to Steam in the next few weeks, with OSRS in the following year. Im starting this thread to discuss as a scripting community how it might affect the way we do our thing on our end. Will Jagex be persuaded to crack down even harder on macroing as to hold itself to a higher standard and show new players (which is why they're moving to steam; to attract more people who have never played) that they don't mess around? Will the client be changed, and in turn effect how stealth/mirror mode works? Will Valve require that they change how botting will be punished, be it a harsher punishment? As if getting your main perma banned isn't already rock bottom...... These are just some things that went through my mind when I saw the announcement, and i would love to hear and start talking about possible outcomes on how we can be more ready.....should any changes happen that will alter the way we have to do things here. Who knows, maybe nothing will change at all? Only time will tell...

The rare times i bot my main, i babysit it so hard lol. I just cant focus on when a fishing spot moves and thats just an xp waste.

How can OO recover if the email registered is turned over with the account and all passwords changed?
