Runefest is coming soon and I’m curious as to what people’s outlook on the bot busting streams are. Within the past few runefests there have been bot busting streams. Basically for anyone who hasn’t watched them it’s a stream by jagex where they put all the botted accounts on one world which are suspected and have been monitored for botting. Once these accounts have been put into another world you can’t log out or change worlds apparently and the jagex staff go through and manually permanently ban accounts, any accounts that were missed are manually banned after. For those of us who are bothered about our accounts that we bot, what would the likelihood of being caught throughout runefest for botting be? Is there a cut off people here would recommend not to bot from set date-set date? Do they mainly go after farms or does it extend into single people? i don’t expect anyone to know all the answers but a little bit insight would be better for all of us here to share views on what we think.

I would assume you make a new account and see if it gets locked/banned

I’ve had issues in the past with RAM failing and it makes your computer slow, blue screens and opening tasks is near impossible. Doesn’t matter how much ram you have anyway when the Osbot client is set at 1.5gb or less to begin with. Complete waste of money imo when 16/32 is more than substantial but again I don’t know your situation or what you would need all that extra ram for

Hardware can fail which can cause things to go haywire. Never say something’s impossible

It’s entirely down to what actions you’re performing with the script. But realistically speaking it shouldn’t cause this much of a problem. If it works on stealth fine and not mirror and the same with other computers I would still be looking st the script personally

If you’ve had problems on 3 other computers I would be looking into the script to make sure you don’t have a memory leak.. the amount of memory being used is far too much for it to be a coincidence. I would look into it further. as long as the mirror mode loads up fine until you start your own script personally I believe it’ll be the script as opposed to any hardware or client sided fault. I would also try other scripts just to be sure

What script is it that you're attempting to run as well?

What are your computer specs? If you go onto This Pc>Right click properties>You'll see the specs. My computer runs; the client, mirror mode & overwatch without the CPU going above 60-70% It's strange that you're only running these two. You don't have chrome open or anything else whilst you're attempting to bot do you? I know chrome uses a lot of CPU

Does the mirror mode client say x64 to x32 in red?

I’ve never done BA personally, always paid for someone to do it on my account. Back in the day when it was extremely cheap. Wouldn’t want to think how much it is these days

I believe he means have you changed the amount of RAM/memory java can utilise. You can change this through the control panel if the client is crashing due to lack of memory

I haven't experienced this yet. Is this from a random DC/Lag from the jagex servers or your own Internet I'll keep an eye out myself to see if I get the same message. Does the console/log say anything as to why its failed

I recently got 99 fishing through barb without a ban. If you're smart about it you won't get banned. Currently doing mining to make some money to fund the account further. Bot smart and you won't have any problems. Do it human like. No casual player can go for 16 hours without a break

In all honesty babysitting makes no difference at all. The only thing babysitting helps with is if the script fails, bugs out or anything like that. Because you’re interacting whilst botting as well, doesn’t make a difference IMO. If you think about it, if jagex can track certain things like mouse movement or clicks which has been debated over here for many months. If you’re talking whilst dropping a full inventory, it’s jot very likely that you can one handed type a full sentence whilst dropping an inventory. Little things like these are what I tend to avoid

As long as the osbot client is running @ x64 to x32 you shouldn't have a problem. I was running into errors where the client would close randomly leaving a hs_err which no longer occurs and I never experience any problems with mirror mode lag. Try uninstalling all versions of java (Control Panel>Uninstall a program>Java) Re-install the 64 bit java from https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp windows 64-bit offline is the one I got. Go to the command prompt (Start>Cmd>"Java -showversion" It should say if it's running in 32 bit or 64) If it's running in 64 you shouldn't experience any more problems, assuming your system is 64-bit as apposed to 32-bit. Hopefully this helps. Alternatively, it could be due to the lack of RAM your computer has but I doubt it.

Against the bot war with jagex. How can you leave us in such time of need.

Never bot something you're not willing to loose. I've been using this script for about a week now with no repercussions. 16 hours p/h day with long breaks. Did the same for fishing and never experienced any bans.

If you’re ever stuck for whether a site is legit or not I usually do to google and look up reviews before entering my card details. Trust pilot is usually a good source

I hope this doesn’t mean you were multi logging by playing your main legit and botting hunter on your side account. Something I would never ever do, even if I was botting something afk like MLM or fishing I wouldn’t take the risk. I’ve done it in the past where I was doing hunter or another activity in the past whilst also playing my main legit and the account was banned the next day. If you’re going to bot don’t have anything to do with your main till you’ve finished whatever goal you’re attempting to bot to. If jagex wanted to be arse holes they could ban your main as well since you’re botting another account, what’s to say you haven’t done it on your main account. That’s the way they’ll look at it

It actually helps when making a thread like this to actually put some effort in so people can help you. What are your computer specs? What version of Java are you running? How many clients/java applications do you have open? What script are you trying to run? How many scripts are you attempting to use? Does the console/logger output anything? What is your task manager processes showing when you're using the script? Does it happen when you run just a runescape client?
