If you botted on a different IP to the one you usually play on (home, school, work etc.) you could claim your account was hacked. I know some people have gone all out suicide madness botting hundreds of hours straight on their main but on an IP located on the other side of the world. Once they're banned they just say 'oh I had no idea, I was hacked and now I come back to play RS and I'm banned for botting'. That works a lot of the time, but needs a little forward thinking. So not sure if that's something you can do in your situation. I've never had any experience with the 'I'm sorry' route. Even though I've got one 2-letter name account which was banned for botting (lol don't ask) I never got myself to appeal it, I'm sort of doubtful it'd work but I figured if I only have one shot at it I'd make it count so I've been waiting a couple years now in hopes it'd increase my chances of success. In any case, the whole process takes time and you usually get a reply after about a month. If you're going to wait before appealing that only adds whatever time you wait to it. I'd say, make a new account and play on it in the meantime, if you do get unbanned then that's great and you'd have two accounts. If not, then at least you didn't waste any time before starting over.

I haven't played CS:GO for a good while and don't even log in to steam anymore, but I did recently and was greeted with a ton of messages from people interested in my skins. Most of the messages are probably from bots but I was genuinely curious what the prices of these two skins were since I haven't traded skins for a few years. This thread really is just leaning towards a price check but I might be wiling to let them go if the value of them is enticing enough. Hey everyone, for those of you following the thread you might have noticed I abruptly vanished and there were no more updates to the thread. Firstly, to dispel any doubts, no Jagex didn't send their hit men... and I didn't get banned. Which means I'll resume the project¹. Naturally you might be thinking "so what happened?"; to which the short answer is I lost interest/got distracted. Long answer: I didn't play RS/think about the project for a short while and from there my interest and energy towards the game shrank and was replaced by other things.. which only helped further displace my attention. As for making a Hallowed Sepulchre bot, heheh well that's going to have to wait. I'm just getting back into the groove of things around RS, seeing what updates the game received and so on. Also mend the bot if any of the updates broke anything etc. ¹I intend to finish the goal of 99 Agility, but the key question is when do I resume the project (I won't be throwing away bonds just for the accounts to sit and not progress). I hope to reboot within the next month but we'll have to wait and see how things play out.

I think they go for a couple thousand USD, but don't take my word for it. That might also depend on your reputation.

Honestly it doesn't surprise me, maybe I'm out of touch with botting nowadays but mostly I thought it'd be fine because the last time I botted was back in RS2 when you could literally bot for 6+ months like it was nothing
