I personally don't like it. I tried following their tutorials once and then realized they barely teach you anything. Their comparable to thenewboston (and he's utterly terrible).

I've barely looked at the API, but from what I've seen in some peoples example scripts it seems as though were being forced to use this "executor" framework. Am I being mislead? I would prefer the implementation we have now, just a simple looping method where we can design our own framework to use.

That doesn't teach you how to apply anything, only the language. I'm more interested in learning how everything flows together to make a web application.

Looking for some good resources to learn both of these things. I learned the basics of Ruby already (not to complicated) but from what I've found online there's not to many tutorials on creating a database driven website using RoR starting from scratch.

I think this would be minimized if there were more scripter restrictions. I feel like half of the time people don't update or their script has consistent bugs is because of their lack of knowledge on how to fix it.

They'd make more if they dedicated a simple hour a day each to fixing it up instead of doing nothing. Goes to show the business expertise these developers have.

They should just stop making promises and instead have an update log they fill out everyday.

I, as well as others, have tried to make multiple threads regarding the issue but they either get locked or neglected. The staff team (excluding @Alek) seem to think that users flock here for the forums while they overlook needed updates/changes in the areas of OSBot that really matter.

Make it a rule then that there will be no disputes allowed when it comes to guides/educational services (unless of course it's a full out scam where someone purchases something and it's never received). People should be allowed to make their own educated decisions based on feedback. If the same logic that is being applied against the sale of these items was applied to everything, there would be no scripts because they wouldn't be allowed to be sold.
