The ban waves are sometimes also random and by transfering from account to account. I did not hear a lot of bans recently because of it? I do have no experience, so I would not know but that's from what I've heard.

I've seen a lot of people getting randomly banned for moving gp's, because of the update. So the system atm is a bit scuffed and fucked for some I suppose.

Well, we got banned. I’m trying to figure out whether it’s a 2-day ban or a permanent one, but it’s not looking good. I can’t even check my account right now since both the Jagex and RuneScape sites are having issues. Is that a good or bad sign? They introduced a stronger check on RWT on the 16th, so you might have just been unlucky. Since the update, they are now punishing both the buyer and the seller. I hope you can get this fixed, but with this update they are focusing on it more strictly.
