Hello! I’m looking for some advice. I was recently banned on an account that I had been botting on for about 2–3 months, roughly 10 hours per day. For context, I don’t run farm bots — I mainly bot accounts to train them up so I can PK on them later. After the ban, I took a break for a few days and then started botting on another account. I used a quest script that I’ve used many times before without any issues. However, when I started botting on this second account, it was banned within about 6 hours, which has never happened to me before. I didn’t think too much of it at the time and took another short break. A few days later, I tried again using a different script on a different account. The same thing happened again, although this time the ban came after about 12 hours. I spoke with a friend who suggested that my IP might be flagged or something similar. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the client at work and logged into an account that I hadn’t played on for over two years, using a completely different IP address. I started botting there as well, and the exact same thing happened again — the account was banned after about 6 hours. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it possible that my IP is flagged, or could my accounts themselves be flagged? I also have another account where I’m planning to buy an Infernal Cape through a third party who bots the cape for you. I’ve bought this service from him on several accounts before without any problems. Given what’s been happening lately, do you think there’s a risk that the account could be banned immediately if I go through with it?
