Maybe it would encourage scripters to take on greater tasks aswell, as getting a script on the SDN would require a more complex script and be "a bigger achievement" than before.

I'd only support this if it doesn't take away any dev time for actually developing the client and what not - that'd be a pity, to be honest. Wouldn't this also make it harder for upcoming scripters to get scripts on the SDN or would it not matter?
