I have an i5-4690k and i ran like 7 bots without issue and could still play games like H1Z1, CS:GO, and SMITE. You should be ok, but if you can splurge for an i7, do so! 16GB ram is a must edit: stick with a 970 or 390 or 390x, I have a 960 and it runs most games ok, but for the future I'll need to upgrade, what games do you intend on playing?

You can torrent windows, no need for a CD drive, and go for 16GB memory if you can.
